Director for National Security Strategy & Integration

The University of Oklahoma is advancing a coordinated, institution-wide model for national security and defense impact. Federal sponsors increasingly view OU as a trusted partner capable of executing integrated, mission-aligned programs that span research, workforce development, and applied innovation. This role ensures those strengths are intentionally aligned and strategically integrated.

The Director for National Security Strategy & Integration serves as OU's senior strategic convener and integrator for defense-related engagement. The position is housed within the Office of the Vice President for Research and Partnerships (OVPRP) and works in close partnership with the Vice President for Research and Partnerships (VPRP), engaging institutional assets and shared services as needed to advance mission-aligned outcomes.
