Job Description

The Director for Clinical Student Success and Operations provides
strategic operational leadership for the clinical education continuum
and serves as the primary administrative partner to the Dean of
Clinical Medicine, Knoxville. The Director coordinates systems that
support clinical student progression, board readiness, clinical
operations, data reporting, and continuous quality improvement while
ensuring consistent implementation of institutional policies across all
campuses. This position focuses on coordination, oversight,
communication, and operational excellence rather than duplicating the
transactional work of specialized staff.

Location Options: This position may be based at any of the following Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (LMU-DCOM) locations: Harrogate, Tennessee; Knoxville, Tennessee; or Orange Park, Florida. The selected candidate's primary work location will be determined based on candidate preference and departmental needs.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; medical experience preferred.
Minimum three years of progressively responsible experience in
medical education, higher education, healthcare administration,
or a related field.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to manage confidential information and multiple competing
priorities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in undergraduate medical education.
Knowledge of osteopathic medical education, COMLEX-USA, and
clinical curriculum operations.
Experience supporting accreditation activities and educational
technology platforms

Physical Demands

Frequently sits for extended periods while working at a computer.
Frequently performs repetitive keyboarding and office tasks.
Occasionally stands, walks, bends, reaches, and lifts up to 20
pounds.
May travel between campuses and affiliated clinical sites.
