How will you contribute to our success?- Overview timely and accurate month, quarter and year-end close of the books (both regional and
consolidated) - Train team on best practice processes and ensure harmonization of data across regions
- Streamline activities and responsibilities across the teams, and ensure optimization of technology
and tools used - Support ad-hoc request for information from various parties
- Manage all audits timeline, ensure documents delivery and team participation/compliance as agreed
to with auditors - Collaborate with the business to ensure accounting services (such as invoice processing) are
delivered on-time and with accuracy.
The skills you will bring to our team- Member of the Ordre des compables agréés du Québec (CPA)
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS and ASPE
- Knowledge of Oracle, PBCS, Smartview
- Bilingual (English and French)
- Team and people management skills
- Ability to deliver on-time, accurate financial information under tight deadlines through tasks priorities management.
- Self-starter, independently keep track of upcoming deadlines (month-and-year-end deliverables)
- Collaborates with the business and other Corporate teams to deliver timely processing times (AR/AP and requests made to the team).
Knowledge of English is necessary for this role due to daily interactions with colleagues, clients and partners who are mainly located outside Quebec and in order to understand regulatory requirements and technical instructions and specifications.
