About The RoleAgainst an increasingly complex regulatory landscape, FTI Consulting's Financial Services team focuses on advising clients to mitigate risk across all stages of business cycles, as well as within an evolving operational, competitive, and regulatory landscape. FTI experts' partner with clients to manage risk, improve financial and operational performance, ensure compliance, respond to regulatory inquiries, address enforcement actions and litigation risks, and optimize the use of assets to protect and enhance enterprise value. We help clients navigate a regulatory investigation or inquiry and achieve the overall risk profile they need to power their organization forward.
We are involved in complex, global, and high-profile litigation, arbitration, investigations, and compliance program remediations combining end-to-end consultative advisory, remediation efforts, and disputes expertise to deliver holistic solutions for our clients.
At the Consultant-level, professionals are expected to gain working foundational expertise in at least one core pillar within the Financial Services practice, while maintaining a strong working knowledge across adjacent service offerings, providing analysis and supporting the broader practice on engagement as needed.
What You'll Do In this role, you will work on a variety of global engagements and will be involved in:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders (CEO, COO, CFO, CRO, CCO, BSA Officer, Head of Financial Crime, business leaders, and regulators) by providing strategic guidance on, but not limited to, program design, remediation, and/ or business transformation.
- Participate in engagements spanning risk assessments, regulatory and compliance reviews, policy and training development, internal investigations, and independent testing, depending on the specific needs of the engagement.
- Help lead client pursuits by shaping solutions in drafting proposals, contributing to pricing strategies, and supporting go-to-market initiatives.
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across FTI service lines, including but not limited to, (e.g., Investigations, Data & Analytics, Corporate Finance, etc.).
- Lead end-to-end production of thought leadership pieces, including white papers, annual reports, and research-driven articles, from initial concept through to multi-channel distribution.

What You Will Need to Succeed Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in either Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Statistics, Business Administrations or in a related field.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant post-graduate professional experience in private or public sectors in financial services.
- Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this position does not provide visa sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in either Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Statistics or in a related field.
- Recognized expertise in at least one financial service subject matter area.
- Experience navigating both sides of the industry; possessing deep institutional knowledge gained from in-house roles and financial services consulting.
- Extensive expertise in regulatory expertise across one or more financial services domains, such as AML, Sanctions, Fraud, Credit Risk, or Regulations across diverse financial sectors, including Consumer, Wholesale, Corporate and Investment, Payments, and Private Wealth Management.
- Prior consulting experience within the Financial Services industry, demonstrating the ability to advise clients across complex regulatory and business challenges.
- Proficient in drafting, reviewing, and coordinating policies, standards, procedures, training, and annual reviews for clients.
- Desire to work towards CFE, CAMS, CRCM, CPA, CFA, FRM or other relevant professional designations.
CompensationMinimum Pay: $91,000
Maximum Pay: $278,000
