Job Objective:
The Director, Field Talent Acquisition leads the recruiting function responsible for delivering high-volume frontline talent across field operations. This role leads and develops a team of Talent Acquisition professionals, drives recruiting execution and process improvement, and partners with business and Human Resources leaders to ensure recruiting capabilities effectively support workforce needs and business growth.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Leads the Field Talent Acquisition function responsible for high-volume recruiting across frontline and field-based positions.
Translates business workforce needs into recruiting priorities, resource plans, and execution approaches that support hiring demand across field operations.
Leads and develops a geographically dispersed team of Talent Acquisition professionals responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and hiring frontline talent.
Establishes clear performance expectations and operating rhythms for the recruiting team and drives accountability for hiring outcomes, candidate experience, and service delivery.
Partners with field leadership, Human Resources, and workforce planning teams to anticipate hiring demand and align recruiting resources with business needs.
Develops and implements recruiting approaches that improve the organization's ability to attract and hire qualified frontline talent in competitive labor markets.
Evaluates recruiting performance across markets, locations, and positions to identify hiring challenges and implement targeted solutions.
Uses recruiting data and market insights to evaluate applicant flow, time to fill, hiring velocity, conversion rates, source effectiveness, recruiter productivity, and other key talent acquisition measures.
Drives continuous improvement of high-volume recruiting processes, tools, workflows, and candidate experiences to improve efficiency and hiring outcomes.
Partners with Compensation and Human Resources to identify market competitiveness issues impacting the organization's ability to attract frontline talent.
Establishes sourcing approaches and talent pipelines for recurring and difficult-to-fill field positions.
Evaluates and optimizes recruiting channels, advertising strategies, job boards, recruiting technology, and external partnerships supporting frontline hiring.
Ensures consistent execution of recruiting processes, selection practices, hiring standards, and employment requirements across field locations.
Partners with Talent Acquisition leadership and other recruiting teams to maintain consistent practices while addressing the unique workforce needs of field operations.
Leads recruiting initiatives supporting new locations, business growth, seasonal hiring needs, workforce transitions, and other significant changes in hiring demand.
Builds strong relationships with field and Human Resources leaders and provides recruiting insights, recommendations, and solutions that address business needs.
Manages external recruiting partners and vendors supporting field hiring and evaluates performance, service levels, and return on investment.
Ensures recruiting practices comply with applicable employment laws, regulations, company policies, and established hiring standards.
Develops and manages the Field Talent Acquisition budget and effectively allocates recruiting resources and investments based on business priorities.
Builds team capability through coaching, development, performance management, and succession planning for Talent Acquisition professionals.
Performs other duties as needed.
Required Experience and Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
10+ years of progressive Talent Acquisition or recruiting experience, including significant experience supporting high-volume frontline or field recruiting.
5+ years of people leadership experience, including experience leading recruiting teams.
Experience supporting geographically dispersed operations and high-volume hiring across multiple markets or locations preferred.
Experience developing and improving high-volume sourcing and recruiting processes preferred.
Experience with applicant tracking systems, recruiting technology, digital sourcing tools, and recruitment marketing platforms preferred.
Professional certification such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or related certification preferred.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
Advanced knowledge of high-volume recruiting, sourcing, selection, recruitment marketing, and candidate experience practices.
Strong understanding of frontline labor markets and the recruiting approaches required to attract talent across geographically dispersed operations.
Ability to translate business hiring needs into recruiting priorities, resource allocation decisions, and scalable execution approaches.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to build, develop, and lead high-performing Talent Acquisition teams.
Ability to use recruiting data and labor market insights to identify challenges, evaluate performance, and drive improvements.
Strong understanding of recruiting technologies, applicant tracking systems, sourcing platforms, and recruiting analytics.
Ability to establish effective processes and operating practices across a high-volume, multi-location recruiting environment.
Strong business acumen with the ability to understand operational workforce needs and connect recruiting performance to business outcomes.
Strong relationship-building and influencing skills with the ability to partner effectively with field leaders, Human Resources, and other stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate recruiting performance, challenges, and recommendations to senior leaders.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to support operational analysis, recruiting performance reporting, planning, and leadership presentations.

Communicates with credibility and influence across organizational levels and effectively represents Talent Acquisition with senior business and Human Resources leaders.
Working Environment/Safety Requirements/Physical Requirements:
Performs work primarily in a standard office environment and must be able to remain seated for extended periods while working on a computer, with occasional standing, walking, and lifting of light office materials. Travel may be required to support field operations, recruiting activities, and business needs.
