Full Job Description
KPMG is currently seeking a Director to join our Federal Advisory practice. Responsibilities: - Provide high quality, professional day-to-day execution of financial audit engagements and projects in line with firm risk management practices - Develops, maintains and monitors work plans. Performs first-line issue resolution. Provides updates on engagement progress and helps draft final reports - Assist in preparing risk assessments and annual audit plans for clients - Work on teams focused on advisory projects and assist engagement management to successfully complete engagement objectives - Help identify performance improvement opportunities for clients and lead client presentations - Participate in firm go-to-market activities, identify new business opportunities, and contribute to the development of proposals specific to the federal advisory practice Qualifications: - A minimum of eight years of experience performing internal or external audits; US Federal government consulting experience preferred - Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university in an appropriate field; CPA or CIA certificate required - Demonstrated track record of leading project teams, development of staff, senior client management, and development of new business proposals - Demonstrated expertise in areas of: A-123, financial audit readiness, federal financial audit, enterprise risk, and federal financial management - Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements - Applicant must possess or be eligible for a U.S. Government clearance KPMG LLP and its affiliates and subsidiaries ("KPMG") complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges.
