Full Job Description
Overview The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing core general accounting functions, including journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end close activities, and financial statement support, while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This role will prepare and review several cash reconciliations along with other ad hoc cash reconciliation tasks. This role will also serve as a lead contributor to the company's ESG audit process, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to gather and validate sustainability data, enhance internal controls, and support external auditors with required documentation. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to balance routine accounting responsibilities with emerging ESG reporting requirements in a fast-evolving regulatory environment.

This is a hybrid role, with 4 days in-office and 1 WFH.

Responsibilities
• Perform core general accounting activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close tasks.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance analyses, and supporting schedules for internal and external reporting.
• Lead the coordination and execution of the ESG audit, ensuring timely responses to auditor requests and completeness of evidence.
• Collaborate with operations, sustainability, and finance teams to ensure alignment and consistency in ESG data capture and reporting.
• Support annual financial audits and assist with technical accounting research as needed.
• Participate in month-end, half-year, and year-end reporting, preparing accruals and schedules and submitting monthly and ad hoc financial reporting packages as directed by management.
• Assist with other ad hoc tasks and duties

• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, with the ability to validate, interpret, and reconcile financial and operational data.
• Trintech experience, specifically reconciling cash within the Matcher tool
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines and maintain data accuracy.
