Responsibilities

We are seeking a strategic, results-drivenDirector, Events and Field Marketing to lead field marketing, own our event strategy, and collaborate with lines of business to drive impactful results and grow Intrado business. This role has significant influence on pipeline health, brand presence, and GTM execution. This individual will lead a team to build and execute all in-person experiences from third-party conferences to Intrado-centric field events that engage target buyers, drive pipeline, and shape our brand perception. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of event and accounts-based marketing strategies, a strong grasp of the sales dynamics across unique buying cycles, and a bias for action.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the national/regional field marketing strategy aligned to revenue targets against
  • Plan and execute Intrado-hosted events (user conferences, executive dinners, roadshows, workshops) and national tier 1 third-party sponsorships (trade shows, industry conferences)
  • Oversee a team of field and event marketers that will partner closely with Sales to prioritize markets, accounts, and pipeline goals across all lines of business
  • Develop a comprehensive integrated campaign program that extend event impact before, during, and after
  • Manage the events and field marketing budget, including vendor negotiations and contracts
  • Define and track KPIs: pipeline sourced/influenced, attendance, conversion, and ROI
  • Manage event logistics, production, and vendor/agency relationships
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Brand, and Sales on messaging and content
  • Coordinate with Field Marketing Managers to build and execute Accounts-Based Marketing plans across all lines of business
  • Align with our partner ecosystem to integrate targeted field programs for key accounts to amplify reach, engagement, and pipeline impact

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of B2B marketing experience; 4+ years managing field or events programs
  • 2+ years in a people management role
  • Proven track record of building pipeline through events and field programs
  • Experience managing large budgets, remote team members and complex, multi-city or global programs
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and executive communication skills
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, marketing automation (Salesforce/HubSpot), and event platforms (Cvent, Popl)
  • Ability to travel 25 60% as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with flagship user conferences or large-scale owned events
  • Background in SaaS, cloud, or enterprise technology
  • Familiarity with ABM platforms (Demandbase, 6sense)

The starting salary is anticipated between $140,000 and $160,000 and will be commensurate with experience.
