Your Team & Role
Prudential is transforming how work is delivered across the enterprise through Scaled Lean Delivery, an outcome-driven model that connects strategy, execution, and value realization.

As the Director, Enterprise Delivery Methodology & SDLC Enablement, you will play a critical leadership role in advancing Prudential's delivery evolution through enterprise methodology ownership, SDLC modernization, governance enablement, and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the VP, Lean Delivery Outcomes, you will be accountable for defining, governing, and evolving the delivery frameworks, standards, and practices that enable teams to deliver business value with greater speed, predictability, quality, and transparency. As both a strategic leader and delivery enabler, you will help shape the future of how Prudential plans, prioritizes, and delivers work, driving enterprise-wide change that advances end-to-end business value delivery rather than simply improving team-level practices.

The ideal candidate brings firsthand Product Owner or Product Management experience and understands the realities of delivering value within complex organizations. They are an influential change leader, critical thinker, and continuous improvement champion who embraces AI-enabled ways of working to modernize delivery practices and improve organizational performance. This is an outcome-oriented and execution-focused role requiring a balance of strategy, influence, and hands-on leadership with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement, evolve delivery practices aligned to enterprise standards, address systemic delivery challenges, and drive sustainable adoption of scalable solutions.

Location: Newark, NJ hybrid (minimum 3 days/week in office)

• Scale proven practices across the enterprise.

2. Own and evolve SDLC standards, control, guidance, and governance
• Partner with Risk, Compliance, Security, Architecture, Engineering, and Testing teams to ensure delivery standards remain effective and scalable; automate controls where possible.
• Identify opportunities to simplify delivery while maintaining appropriate risk management and controls.
• Apply lean, agile, and process excellence principles to solve complex, cross-functional delivery challenges.

3. Drive with Accountability
• Embed practices that increase predictability, reduce work-in-progress, and improve value realization.
• Influence leaders and delivery organizations to adopt outcome-driven and flow-based delivery practices.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on delivery challenges, organizational impediments, and transformation opportunities.
• Build alignment across stakeholders with differing priorities and levels of maturity.
• Drive sustainable behavioral and process change through coaching, consultation, and leadership engagement.

4. Leverage Metrics to Drive Delivery and Business Outcomes
• Use delivery data, flow metrics, KPI dashboards, and operational insights to identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure improvements result in tangible business outcomes.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership audiences.

5. Enable Innovation and Continuous Improvement
• Evaluate industry trends, emerging delivery models, and AI capabilities to enhance organizational effectiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement across methodologies, tools, and defined best practices.
