Responsibilities

Intrado is seeking a Director, Enterprise Data Management to lead our enterprise data strategy, governance, analytics, and reporting functions. Reporting to the SVP, Information Technology, this leader will oversee master data management, data governance, the enterprise data warehouse, and the teams that deliver trusted business insights across the organization.

 

This is a high-impact opportunity for a hands-on leader who is passionate about building scalable data foundations, driving cross-functional alignment, and transforming data into a strategic asset. You will lead a team of data engineers, data analysts, and governance professionals while partnering closely with leaders across Finance, Sales, Operations, Product, Customer Experience, and Technology.

 

As Intrado continues to modernize its systems and data ecosystem, this role will be instrumental in creating a single, trusted view of customers, products, contracts, and business performance, ensuring consistent, reliable, and actionable data across the enterprise.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Lead Enterprise Data Governance

  • Establish and lead enterprise data governance programs, standards, and stewardship practices
  • Define and manage key master data domains, with an initial focus on customer, product, and contract data
  • Partner with business leaders to improve data quality, consistency, and accountability across the organization
  • Develop governance processes, scorecards, and controls that ensure sustainable long-term data quality

Drive Data Strategy and Data Management Excellence

  • Define systems of record and data ownership across enterprise applications
  • Establish enterprise data standards, identifiers, and integration practices that enable consistent reporting and analytics
  • Collaborate with application and integration teams to improve data flow, lineage, and transparency
  • Lead initiatives to simplify and standardize data across business platforms

Own the Enterprise Data Warehouse and Reporting Ecosystem

  • Define and manage data sourcing, certification, and governance standards for the enterprise data warehouse
  • Develop and maintain trusted enterprise metrics, reporting definitions, and business intelligence frameworks
  • Implement controls and monitoring processes to identify and resolve data discrepancies before they impact business reporting
  • Streamline reporting processes and improve the efficiency, consistency, and scalability of analytics delivery

Build and Develop a High-Performing Team

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data engineers, analysts, and governance professionals
  • Establish delivery processes that balance operational support with strategic initiatives
  • Create a roadmap-driven organization focused on business outcomes and continuous improvement
  • Manage vendor relationships, platform investments, and data technology costs

Ensure Compliance and Data Protection

  • Partner with Information Security and Legal teams to support regulatory, privacy, and contractual data requirements
  • Implement data classification, retention, and governance standards
  • Promote secure and responsible data management practices across the organization

 

Qualifications

 

Required:

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in enterprise data management, analytics, business applications, or data engineering
  • Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams that combine data engineering, analytics, and governance capabilities
  • Experience implementing and operationalizing data governance and master data management programs
  • Strong background working within integrated ERP, CRM, and enterprise application environments
  • Experience leading cloud-based data platforms, data warehouses, business intelligence solutions, and reporting programs
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both executive stakeholders and technical teams
  • Proven track record driving organizational change and influencing business leaders across functions
  • Ability to travel 10% or as needed
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred

Preferred:

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Azure, Databricks, or similar enterprise platforms
  • Experience in private equity-backed, highly regulated, or reporting-intensive organizations
  • Background in telecommunications, network services, public safety, SaaS, or other complex operational environments
  • Master's degree in a related field

The starting salary is anticipated between $150,000 and $175,000 and will be commensurate with experience.
