RH is seeking a Director, Email Marketing, Brand Creative to define and advance the creative vision for our global email marketing program. This role sits at the intersection of brand storytelling, design excellence, and performance - ensuring every communication reflects RH's uncompromising standards of beauty, clarity, and craft at scale. The ideal candidate is a hands-on design leader with exceptional taste and conviction, capable of establishing the process, pace, and standards that elevate both the work and the teams behind it.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Live our Vision, Values, and Beliefs
  • Own and evolve the visual language of email design, establishing standards for typography, layout, imagery, and narrative pacing
  • Lead concept development for campaigns, product launches, promotions, and brand storytelling initiatives
  • Partner closely with the SVP and VP of Digital Creative to shape strategy, briefs, cadence, and cohesive, story-driven campaigns
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Merchandising, Copy, Photography, Production, and Analytics teams to translate business objectives into compelling creative
  • Establish and maintain scalable design systems, templates, and component libraries that support efficiency without compromising quality
  • Present creative work to senior leadership with confidence and discernment, incorporating feedback while upholding creative integrity
  • Mentor and oversee production designers, fostering excellence in craft, accountability, and growth
  • Balance creative ambition with performance insights, operational efficiency, and technical feasibility
  • Ensure all email creative is meticulously crafted, on-brand, and production-ready

  • 10+ years of experience in digital or e-commerce design, including leadership of high-performing creative teams
  • Mastery of typography, composition, and photography within a digital-first environment

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, engaging senior leadership and leading live design refinement with confidence and discernment

  • Advanced expertise in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining email templates and modular design systems

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent sitting, standing, and moving throughout the workday within an office or studio environment
  • Frequently work at a computer for extended periods of time, including viewing digital screens and using input devices
  • Periodically travel for meetings, presentations, or reviews, as business needs require
  • On-site presence at our Corte Madera, California headquarters is required Monday through Friday
  • Flexibility to work beyond standard business hours, as business needs require
