Full Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director - Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) is responsible for leading the development, standardization, and governance of corporate EHS programs with a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance, training, and enterprise-wide program execution. This role ensures effective global implementation of EHS systems, alignment with ISO standards, and continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance across manufacturing, engineering and service operations.

This role is mainly based in Fort Collins, Colorado.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and govern global EHS programs, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency across all locations
  • Lead corporate compliance programs and ensure adherence to global EHS regulations
  • Maintain and enhance ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 aligned management systems
  • Design and implement a global EHS training strategy including compliance and risk-based training
  • Partner with site and regional teams to ensure effective deployment and audit readiness

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Location: Fort Collins, Colorado.
  • Environment: works in standard office environment, using general office equipment
  • Regular travel to support training, audits, and program implementation


QUALIFICATIONS:

EXPERIENCE:
  • 10+ years of experience in EHS within a global or multinational organization with at least 5 years in leadership roles
  • Experience in industrial, electronics, or semiconductor sectors preferred


EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification preferred


COMPENSATION:

As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of starting pay for this role is $150,000 to $210,000 per year.
