JOB DESCRIPTION

Red Seat Ventures partners with the world's top creators across multiple genres to grow and monetize their content - through advertising, subscription, live events, and beyond. We take a multiplatform approach spanning podcasting, video, FAST, and more, backed by our own proprietary tech stack including Supercast (subscription) and Speakeasy (hosting, distribution, and monetization).

Named after Ted Williams' longest home run at Fenway Park, RSV was built with a simple mandate: swing for the fences. Today, we're the fastest-growing creator network, backed by Tubi Media Group and Fox Corporation.

ABOUT YOU

You are a strategic leader who lives at the intersection of programmatic technology and partnership building. You have spent your career growing DSP and platform relationships into meaningful revenue, and you know what it takes to turn a logo on a deck into an integrated, multi-million dollar partnership. You are equally comfortable in a boardroom with The Trade Desk's leadership team and in the weeds of deal ID architecture and yield optimization. You understand that programmatic revenue at premium publishers is not a transactional sale - it is a long-term partnership built on trust, technical credibility, and shared roadmap alignment. You thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments and you are excited by the opportunity to build the DSP partnership function for one of the most compelling creator portfolios in the industry. This role reports to the VP of Ad Tech & Revenue Strategy to architect and scale the programmatic revenue engine across RSV's premium creator portfolio.

ABOUT THE ROLE
  • Own and grow strategic partnerships with major DSPs (The Trade Desk, DV360, Yahoo, StackAdapt, Amazon DSP, MediaMath) and SSPs to drive programmatic revenue across RSV's portfolio
  • Negotiate platform-level deal structures, certifications, and joint go-to-market initiatives with DSP partners
  • Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for programmatic partnership growth, identifying new platform opportunities and emerging buyers
  • Partner with the Programmatic Account Executive team to ensure deal flow conversion and unblock technical or commercial roadblocks
  • Represent RSV at industry events, partner summits, and joint customer meetings as the senior face of our programmatic offering
  • Collaborate with Sales, Pricing & Planning, and Ad Operations to ensure DSP partner needs are reflected in our packaging, pricing, and inventory strategy
  • Build executive-level relationships at DSP partners to unlock co-marketing, beta access, and strategic alignment opportunities
  • Drive new product attach (PMP, Programmatic Guaranteed, audience packages) across the partner ecosystem
  • Partner with the VP of Ad Tech & Revenue Strategy on platform integration roadmap and adtech infrastructure investments
  • Provide market intelligence and competitive positioning to internal stakeholders, including leadership and product teams
  • Mentor and develop junior team members across the programmatic sales function

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
  • 8+ years of experience in programmatic advertising, with at least 3 years in a senior partnerships, sales, or business development role at a publisher, SSP, DSP, or ad tech company
  • Deep relationships across the DSP ecosystem (The Trade Desk, DV360, Amazon DSP, Yahoo, StackAdapt, MediaMath) - ideally with named contacts at the senior buyer or seat lead level
  • Proven track record of growing programmatic revenue at scale through strategic partnership building
  • Strong commercial instincts paired with technical fluency in SSP/DSP integrations, deal ID architecture, header bidding, and audience targeting
  • Experience in audio or podcast programmatic preferred (AdsWizz, Triton, Megaphone, AudioMax) but not required
  • Excellent executive presence with a demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership both internally and at partner organizations
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to C-level audiences
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
