What You'll Do

The Head of Digital Commerce & Route-to-Market is a key global leadership role responsible for shaping Accelerator's digital commerce vision, building scalable capabilities, optimizing route-to-market models, and accelerating growth across pureplay, retailer.com, marketplaces, retail media, digital shelf, on-demand delivery and social commerce. This leader will set the agenda across global regions and priority markets, with the U.S. as the lead market and Amazon as a critical business delivery responsibility.

Serving on the Mars Snacking Global Digital Commerce Leadership Team and reporting to the Sales Global Center of Excellence Lead, Accelerator, this role will build the commercial frameworks, operating models and playbooks needed to scale growth, unlock new revenue opportunities, and deliver best-in-class execution across digital commerce ecosystems. Digital commerce is expected to influence and deliver >50% of future growth, making this an important mission for a builder who can connect global strategy with practical execution in the U.S. lead market and across regions.

Job Responsibilities
  • Define and lead Accelerator's global digital commerce and route-to-market strategy across pureplay, retailer.com, marketplaces, retail media, digital shelf, on-demand delivery and social commerce.
  • Serve as a member of the Mars Snacking Global Digital Commerce Leadership Team, elevating Accelerator priorities and translating global and regional learnings into practical growth plays.
  • Own the U.S. lead-market agenda, including overall business delivery for the North America Amazon business, partnering with the Amazon lead to accelerate growth, profitable P&L delivery, customer engagement and long-range planning.
  • Build scalable capabilities, playbooks, governance models and execution standards around the 3 Cs, Customer, Capabilities and Community, to enable growth at scale and pioneer frontier capabilities.
  • Lead and develop the team responsible for Demand Platforms, Digital Shelf, Amazon, Retailer.com and Syndicated Content, fostering an entrepreneurial culture of innovation, accountability, speed and continuous improvement.
  • Drive digital shelf excellence, content syndication, search optimization and retail media effectiveness to improve discoverability, conversion and return on investment.
  • Partner cross-functionally across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Insights and Technology to identify growth opportunities, optimize commercial execution and accelerate speed-to-market.
  • Cultivate a winning team culture across a matrixed global environment, bringing energy, clarity and practical operating discipline to a fast-scaling business.


Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Digital Commerce, eCommerce, Sales, Commercial Strategy, Omnichannel, Retail Media, Route-to-Market, or related global commercial leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated experience building scalable commercial capabilities, operating models, and cross-functional initiatives in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Strong experience leading teams and influencing senior stakeholders to deliver business results.
  • Experience owning, leading, or directly supporting Amazon and/or other major digital commerce platforms, marketplaces and pureplay customers.

Preferred
  • Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods, retail, digital commerce, or high-growth consumer brands.
  • Experience supporting acquisitions, incubators, emerging brands, or rapidly scaling businesses.
  • Expertise in Digital Shelf, Syndicated Content, Retail Media, Search, and Marketplace execution.
  • Global or multi-market leadership experience, including experience translating global strategy into regional or market-level execution.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.

The pay range shown is applicable to all US locations listed within the job posting:USD 192,560.00 - USD 264,770.00
