Your Role:This role is position is for an experienced trading operations manager with automated trading and middle and back office experience. This includes
- leading our US spot exchange operations (Alpaca Crypto LLC)
- leading our Bahamas spot and derivatives exchange operations (AlpacaX Crypto Limited)
- building and maintaining our internal trading desk
Things You Get To Do: You will build and manage a globally distributed team of trade ops associates providing 24/5 service coverage.
You and your team:
- Directly engage with our customers, providing a world-class service
- Review, identify and resolve trade differences
- Process trade corrections and cancellations
- Inventory account reconciliation
- Provide input into new procedures and processes as well as revisions to existing operations procedures and processes
- Manage our trading desk (internal market maker) and work with engineering to build and monitor trading systems performing automated hedging strategies
- Manage our global fiat banking relationships
- Maintain relationships with liquidity providers, token projects and all our vendors
- Assist with financial and regulatory audits
- Work closely with engineering to bring industry-leading crypto products to market
Who You Are (Must-Haves):- Experienced running middle/back office trade operations for a brokerage or crypto exchange
- Built and managed a globally distributed customer service focused team providing world-class 24/5 service coverage
- Experience trading crypto professionally
- Experience in US crypto regulations
Who You Might Be (Nice-To-Haves):- Quant research or have previously run a trading desk
- Entrepreneurial experience as co-founder / founding team of a startup
- Operated within a SOC 1/2 Type 2 certified environment
