Responsibilities

  • Create metrics and presentations for senior leadership on customer quality and improvement priorities.
  • Drive enhancements to customer setup and delivery processes to improve deliveries and reduce damages.
  • Lead analysis of shipping variances and resolution of customer complaints.
  • Interface with service centers and dealers to capture customer feedback and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor field performance trends to initiate systemic improvements.
  • Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) for new product setup and delivery processes.
  • Drive execution of Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and related processes in collaboration with Engineering and R&D.
  • Integrate quality assurance throughout the product lifecycle from concept to launch.
  • Support talent development through career path planning and training for new hires.

Full Job Description
Responsibilities:

  • Create metrics and presentations to report out to senior leadership on customer quality and improvement priorities.
  • Drive changes to customer setup and delivery processes to enhance customer deliveries and reduce damages and shortages.
  • Lead shipping variance analysis, customer complaint resolution, and field investigations.
  • Interface with service centers and dealers to capture the Voice of Customer (VOC) and drive corrective actions.
  • Monitor field performance trends and initiate systemic improvements.
  • Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) across new product programs for setup and delivery processes.
  • Drive Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) execution in collaboration with Engineering and R&D.
  • Ensure quality integration throughout the product lifecycle-from concept to launch.
  • Foster talent development by supporting career path planning, management of performance objectives, engagement, training, and onboarding of new hires.


Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field required.

Years of Experience: 7+ years of experience in OEM in ISC manufacturing quality / engineering required.

Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office Suite required; SAP, intermediate to advanced skills in lifecycle management software preferred.

Additional Requirements:

  • Strong analytical, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills required.
  • Experience with customer-facing quality and field issue resolution required.
  • Automotive / Powersports or heavy equipment industry experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with global safety standards and recall management preferred.
  • Proficiency in quality systems (QMS), data analytics, and continuous improvement tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) preferred.
