Job Summary and QualificationsUnder the direction of the Assistant CNO and CNO, the Nursing Director is responsible for planning, administering, and evaluating the operations of his/her respective unit(s): ICU, IMC, Float Pool and House Supervisors units. Responsible for effective patient care in accordance with appropriate policies and procedures, budget constraints. The Director provides oversight and direction to multiple departments and assigned managers within the hospital. The Director is responsible for effectively directing the delivery of patient care that promotes the safety and wellbeing of all patients in the assigned departments on a 24-hour, 7 days/week basis. The Director has a broad vision for service lines he/she is responsible.
Directs the care of the adult critically ill population, as well as the care of the chronically ill elderly patients. Accountability for the standards and scope of nursing practice. The individual manages the flow of patients and information to expedite care, collaborating with the physicians. Demonstrates clinical competency and nursing judgment, teaching skills, and a commitment to improving the quality of patient care. Contributes to the Ogden Regional Department of Nursing and the nursing profession in a positive manner. The Director espouses the mission, values and ethics of the corporation, hospital and nursing department and serves as a professional role model.What qualifications you will need:- Bachelor's Degree required. Master's degree preferred.

- Previous leadership experience
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date
- FEMA/NIMS IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS800 withing 90 days of hire
