Job Summary:

The Director, Corporate FP&A plays a critical role in shaping enterprise financial insight, planning, and performance at Vail Resorts. This leader helps translate strategy into financial outcomes-driving clarity, rigor, and actionable insight across planning, forecasting, and executive decision support. Operating at the center of the enterprise, the role partners closely with senior leadership to develop the company's financial narrative, assess performance, and support capital allocation and growth priorities. The Director leads a high-performing team and serves as a key steward of enterprise financial planning processes, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and strategic alignment. Reporting to the VP, Enterprise FP&A, this role combines analytical depth with strong communication and leadership capability to influence decisions at the highest levels of the organization.

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $145,000 - $175,000 + annual bonus + equity

Job Responsibilities:

Enterprise Financial Planning & Insight
  • Lead enterprise-wide planning processes, including long-range planning, annual budgets, and forecasting
  • Translate complex financial results into clear, actionable insights for executive leadership

Strategic Partnership & Decision Support
  • Partner with senior leaders to support strategic initiatives, growth priorities, and capital allocation decisions

Executive Communication & Narrative

People & Team Leadership
  • Lead, develop, and coach a high-performing team of finance professionals

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $145,000 - $175,000 + annual bonus + equity. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Vail Resorts offers a 'Hybrid' work environment for Broomfield-based roles where employees must live within 50 miles of the Broomfield office and work on-site Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and have flexibility to work off-site on Mondays and Fridays.
