Ready to take your finance leadership career to the next level? Hubbell is hiring a Director, Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis in Shelton, CT (Hybrid)!

The Corporate Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will serve as a key member of the Hubbell Finance team, leading forecasting and planning processes for Corporate. This role will help support the Executive Leadership team with all financial matters, promoting timely, accurate, and transparent information and assumptions. This role will act as a financial business partner and advocate for forecast accuracy with exposure to leaders across the enterprise.

A Day In The Life

  • Lead all forecasting and analysis processes for Corporate and Enterprise with decision making authority.
  • Craft the Annual Operating Plan with precision, strategic reasoning, and supporting details.
  • Evaluate monthly financial results, analyzing and explaining variances.
  • Partner with functional C-Suite leaders to explain actual results and variances, while also validating future assumptions to enhance forecast accuracy.
  • Prepare financial updates and presentations for forecast revisions where applicable.
  • Analyze complex information to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations.
  • Create Executive level presentations to clearly display and emphasize critical information.
  • Forecast corporate balance sheets and guide Enterprise Free Cash Flow position.
  • Handle high priority and confidential information with respect and discretion.
  • Understanding of GAAP reporting, P&L analysis, and Free Cash Flow.

  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience.
  • Large manufacturing industry experience (cost accounting) strongly preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to adapt to the rapid business and organizational changes that accompany a high-growth environment.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to lead large scale initiatives.
  • Ability to multi-task and team-oriented mindset, but capable of working independently.
  • Track-record of working with cross-functional teams, and demonstrated experience interfacing regularly with other finance professionals at all levels as well as C-Suite executive team.
  • SAP and OneStream experience strongly preferred, knowledge of similar tools (ex. HFM) at a minimum.
  • Strong oral and written skill set, as well as strong presentation skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Experience with driving balance sheet and cash flow analysis, and building models.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred, Master's a plus.
