Full Job Description
  • This role offers the opportunity to develop and implement a new function dedicated to driving the COO Group's Metrics & Reporting strategy and provide transparency into the operational health, performance, and strategic execution of the COO Group's initiatives
  • The ideal candidate will support the Head of COO Office & Business Transformation, designing and delivering executive-grade reporting and KPI dashboards that enable data-driven decision-making across the COO Group
  • As a metrics and insights specialist, this individual will define key performance indicators, establish reporting cadences, design scorecards, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to drive continuous improvement across operational capabilities
  • Responsible for building and maintaining the operational metrics and KPI infrastructure that supports business management, transformation execution, and performance accountability
  • Establish COO Group-wide reporting standards, metrics governance, and reporting automation to ensure consistency, accuracy, and timeliness of performance data across all functions


What will you do?

Strategy & Framework Development
• Develop a comprehensive metrics framework aligned to COO Group functions and Capital Markets strategic priorities
• Establish baseline KPIs including client experience, operational efficiency, cost-to-serve, and automation rates
• Create a metrics repository as the authoritative source with standardized definitions, methodologies, and historical trends
• Drive standardization of metrics terminology and reporting across the organization

Reporting, Analytics & Insights
• Design and deliver QBR packages, standardized monthly/quarterly reporting, and real-time operational dashboards for leadership
• Engage with Finance, HR, Operations, Technology, and Risk teams to create a single source of truth
• Build automated data pipelines and leverage analytics to identify trends and optimization opportunities
• Provide regular performance analysis, identify gaps and root causes, and recommend corrective actions

Governance & Continuous Improvement

Lead the implementation of new metrics and reporting capabilities in support of business transformation initiatives and strategic priorities

Establish metrics governance framework with clear definitions, calculation methodologies, and validation processes
• Maintain data quality standards and reconciliation procedures to ensure accuracy
• Establish reporting cadence and governance for timely, consistent delivery of management information
• Continuously refine the metrics framework and lead implementation of new capabilities supporting business transformation

What you need to succeed?

Must have:
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in operational metrics, business analytics, performance management, or business intelligence roles within financial services environments.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in senior roles defining and managing KPI frameworks, dashboards, and reporting for complex organizations.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and implementing metrics frameworks that drive operational improvements and strategic alignment.
  • Strong experience in business analytics, data integration, and leveraging data to provide actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work across multiple business units, functions, and geographies to establish consistent metrics and reporting standards.
  • Experience with financial and operational KPIs, including cost-to-serve, efficiency ratios, operating leverage, and productivity metrics.
  • Strong understanding of Capital Markets operations, processes, and business models is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field


Nice-to-have:
  • Advanced Degree (MBA, MS in Analytics, or equivalent)
  • Certifications in business analytics, data management, or financial analysis
  • Technical/ functional capabilities:
    • Advanced proficiency in business intelligence and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or similar)
    • Strong SQL and data manipulation skills; comfort with data modeling and ETL processes
    • Proficiency in Excel and financial analysis; familiarity with Python or R is a plus
    • Experience with metrics management platforms and data warehousing solutions
    • Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills
    • Ability to assess and evolve metrics frameworks and analytics capabilities
    • Experience designing executive dashboards and reporting automation solutions
  • Inter-personal skills and capabilities:
    • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex metrics into clear business narratives
    • Excellent presentation and data visualization skills; ability to communicate insights effectively to senior leadership
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a matrix environment
    • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders across areas not reporting directly to this role
    • Ability to balance competing priorities and deliver under time pressure
    • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple reporting initiatives simultaneously
