The Impact You Will Make

Risepointis seeking a Director, Content Strategy & Thought Leadership toadvance our brand and reputation. This is a highlyimpactful and cross-functional role for astorytellerwho understands that great thought leadershipisntjust content itsa deliberate, sustained effort to shape how anindustry thinksand to position our company within that industry.This role leadsbrand campaigns, digital reputation, executive thought leadership, and integrated marketing initiatives spanning digital, social, experiential, earned, and print channels.

How You Will Bring Our Mission to Life

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute an integrated contentstrategy across digital, social, experiential, and print to producebrand-alignedcontentthat increases awareness, affinity, and association with our brand pillarsthrough a thought leadership lens.
  • Design an omnichannelcontent calendar to bring the contentstrategy to life while alsomaximizing the value of reports, events, and other key activities, collaborating with Internal and External Communications.

  • InformandimplementSEO, AEO, and other digital reputationstrategiesvia PESO.

  • Craftintegratedcampaignscenteredaround key moments, such as conferences and report releases.

  • Establish a data-driven approach tocontentdevelopment and performance,leveraginganalytics, testing, and emerging digital trends.

  • Ensure all contentalignswithourvoice, tone, and messaging framework, editing content as needed.

  • Lead executive thought leadership planning and execution for the CEO and other key C-suite leadersthrough ghostwriting, editorial planning, and ongoing audience development.

  • Identifyand prioritize conferences, industry events,awards,and forums whereRisepointand its leaders can build meaningful visibility and credibility.

  • Manage the full lifecycle of event participation from abstract submissions and speaker prep tologistics, on-site presence, and post-event content amplification.

  • Collaborate with Public Affairs and our PR agency to shape and support executive public appearances, includingpodcastfeatures, media interviews, byline opportunities, and speaking engagements.

What Youll Bring to the Team

Experience That Matters Most

  • 10+ years of experience in thought leadership, contentstrategy,marketing,ora closely related fieldideally with exposure to more than one of these disciplines.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and execute full brand campaigns from concept to completion, with a working understanding of how AEO and SEO inform contentstrategy.
  • Experience developing social media channelstrategies (LinkedIn and YouTube experience especially valued) that support integrated campaigns.
  • A track recordof building compelling executive thought leadership presences and collaborating with PR teams on earned media efforts.
  • The ability to translatenarrative and positioninginto content and campaigns that move audiences.
  • Exceptional writing skills you can captureeach leaders unique voice and the brands voice,leveragingeach as appropriate.
  • Experience owning content calendars across multiple channels and keeping complex workstreams on track.
  • Comfort with measurement and reporting, and an understanding of how paid fits into a broader brandstrategy.
  • Familiarity with the conference and podcast landscape in education, technology, or a similarly ideas-driven industry.

Experience Thats Great to Have
