Job Description:

Investigates and responds to reported areas of concern, including issues reported via the compliance hotline. Serves as a home health subject matter expert on regulatory healthcare compliance, supporting staff and leaders on compliance, privacy, billing/coding, and regulatory matters. Other duties as assigned. Participates in ongoing risk assessment and monitoring of home health activities to identify and address regulatory risks. Provides and implements training and education on company policies and regulatory compliance to ensure adherence to state and federal laws. Communicates compliance matters to operational and corporate leaders through regular update meetings. Conducts routine on-site visits to home health locations approximately 25% of work time. Develops and executes monitoring and auditing project plans and deliverables. Implements the Compliance Program for designated entities, reporting to the Regional Compliance Officer. Leads day-to-day operations of the home health compliance function, handling compliance and privacy matters. Facilitates internal and external audits, coordinating with the AdventHealth Compliance corporate office. Assists with the performance of the AdventHealth work plan for home health locations.
