This position partners closely with senior leaders, HR and corporate stakeholders to translate business priorities into meaningful communications and experiences that drive engagement, strengthen culture, increase leadership visibility and reinforce the employee value proposition internally.

About the Role

The Director, Employee & Leadership Communications and Employer Brand is responsible for the strategy, creation and delivery of employee and leadership communications that connect employees to the company's culture, values, business priorities and employee experience.

Leading a multidisciplinary team spanning internal communications, executive communications, town halls, newsletters, digital employee experiences and creative design, this role develops the stories, content and engagement opportunities that shape how employees experience the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all employee and leadership communications, including executive messaging, organizational announcements, leadership updates and employee engagement campaigns.
  • Develop and execute an integrated content and storytelling strategy that connects employees to company priorities, culture, values and employee experiences.
  • Oversee enterprise town halls, leadership forums and employee communication events, ensuring a consistent and engaging employee experience.
  • Own strategy and oversight for employee newsletters, communication campaigns and editorial planning across internal channels.
  • Lead SharePoint and digital employee experience content strategy, design and user experience to improve communication effectiveness and employee engagement.
  • Oversee graphic design and creative services, ensuring communications and campaigns are visually compelling, brand-aligned and audience focused.
  • Develop engaging campaigns and experiences that support culture, belonging, recognition, volunteering, learning, wellbeing and other employee-focused initiatives.
  • Partner with executives and senior leaders to identify opportunities for leadership visibility, storytelling and employee connection.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in corporate communications, internal communications, communications operations, communications strategy, organizational communications or a related discipline, preferably in a large, multinational or highly matrixed organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Human Resources, Organizational Development or a related field required; master's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience designing or leading communications governance, operating models, intake and prioritization processes, enterprise planning, channel strategy or portfolio management.
  • Strong strategic and operational judgment, with the ability to translate business priorities into clear governance requirements, practical processes and coordinated plans.
  • Proven ability to advise, influence and build alignment with senior executives, C-suite leaders, HR, Technology, business leaders, regional teams and other stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Excellent program and project management skills, including the ability to manage complex portfolios, competing priorities, dependencies, risks, deadlines and multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Strong analytical capability and experience defining measures, interpreting communications data and feedback, and translating insights into recommendations and continuous improvement actions.
  • Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills, with the ability to set quality standards, review high-impact communications and simplify complex information.
  • Experience establishing standards, templates, playbooks, approval protocols and governance forums that improve consistency and execution across distributed teams.
  • Digital and technology fluency, including familiarity with intranets, collaboration platforms, mobile communications, analytics tools, Microsoft Office and emerging communications technologies.

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $118,300 - $219,800. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.
