Who You’ll Work With

Our team designs and executes advertising programs, internal and external communications strategies, and client and prospect engagement programs to showcase who Corebridge is to our customers, distribution partners and employees. Our team oversees brand positioning and strategy, digital and social media, employee and executive communications, media relations, industry research and thought leadership, product marketing, customer regulatory communications, and social impact and sponsorship programming.

About The Role

As a Senior Communication Consultant you will be responsible for providing communication-consulting services to Corebridge strategic clients. In this client-facing role, you will work closely with members of the Relationship Management and Marketing Strategy teams to deliver best-in-class participant communication and education programs designed to meet our client’s retirement plan goals and objectives.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and development expertise for strategic streamlined initiatives such as financial wellness and financial literacy

  • Provide strong project management tomanage projects 5end-to-end6 by managing all resources to ensure the deadlines and client deliverables are met

  • Coordinate team resources within Marketing Strategy and other internal and external partners to deliver on all aspects of an integrated communication and education plan for client relationships

  • Analyze plan and participant data to understand behavior and educational needs to propose best practice solutions and/or custom solutions

  • Understand plan-specific materials to develop knowledge of each client6s plan provisions and educate business partners as appropriate

  • Engage in emerging trends in communications to remain competitive while meeting our client6s needs.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • BA/BS required

  • 5+ years6 experience in employee benefits communications and/or financial services communications strongly preferred

  • 5+ years6 marketing strategy and/or relationship marketing experience preferred

  • Ability to manage long-term strategic communications projects, as well as quick turn-around assignments

  • Ability to analyze data and business strategies to develop communications plans and programs to meet customer needs

  • High-level verbal and written communications skills necessary to consult on communication planning with all management levels and to direct development of marketing materials with project team

  • Ability to work multiple projects with tight deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment

  • Must have the ability to deliver engaging and effective presentations which demonstrate and differentiate Corebridge communication and education capabilities

  • Demonstrated ability in financial services/retirement services marketing

  • Operate well in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision required

  • Ability to articulate complex situations simply and in an engaging style

  • Outstanding project management skills and ability to deliver projects on schedule

  • Advanced interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution, relationship building and negotiation
