Job Description

The Commercial Transformation Director leads the design, implementation, and measurement of commercial transformation initiatives and experiments across the business. This role partners closely with commercial, sales, finance, and regional leaders to translate strategic opportunities into executable tests, establish clear measures of success, and use results to inform broader business decisions. The Director operates as a highly influential individual contributor, driving work through cross-functional teams and business leaders rather than through direct reports. • Drive cross-functional implementation by partnering with commercial, sales, regional, finance, operations, and other business leaders. Influence stakeholders to adopt new approaches, participate in pilots, and execute changes consistently in the field.
  • Establish measurement frameworks and evaluate experiment performance using financial, commercial, customer, and operational data. Synthesize results, identify insights, and recommend whether initiatives should be scaled, modified, or discontinued.
  • Maintain visibility to the commercial transformation portfolio, including priorities, milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, and results. Provide clear updates and recommendations to senior leaders and ensure work remains aligned to enterprise transformation priorities.
  • Support change adoption and continuous improvement by identifying barriers to execution, coordinating solutions across functions, and helping translate successful experiments into repeatable business practices.

Education and Experience:
  • Level of Formal Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Area of Study: Business, Finance, Strategy, Analytics or a related field; MBA preferred
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 7
  • Type of Experience: 7 - 10+ years of experience in Commercial strategy, transformation, sales strategy, business analytics, finance, consulting, or related experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Technical Competencies & Information Systems: Deep working knowledge of CRM and sales technology platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, sales engagement and forecasting tools).
  • Skills & Abilities: Demonstrated success managing organizational change, including stakeholder alignment, communication planning, and adoption measurement. Strong analytical and financial acumen, comfortable building and defending business cases with data. Excellent executive communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with strong strategic and systems thinking and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Additional Language Skills: Fluent in English.
  • Personal Attributes & Other/Preferred: Commercially curious, highly analytical, action-oriented, comfortable operating in ambiguity, and able to move between strategy and hands-on execution. Experience in B2B, retail, distribution, or a multi-channel commercial environment is preferred.
