Success in this role is directly tied to Flywheel's revenue growth, but a truly successful candidate will do well through insight-based additions to pitches, a competitive streak externally but highly collaborative internally, and a deep curiosity to discover, create, and teach new solutions and capabilities that help Flywheel win.

What you'll do:
As Commerce Strategy Director, you will lead strategic components of Flywheel's commercial and new business approach. Some of those core responsibilities include:

Partnering closely with Flywheel's Business Development Directors to coordinate pitch strategy and bring bespoke and tailored opportunities to the organization's highest-value opportunities.

Building and delivering best in class pitch narratives

Working across Omnicom agencies to identify opportunities for collaboration

Creating process to more quickly go to market with insights, leveraging or building new tools or connecting between existing capabilities to create something new

Building organizational capability and develop training and knowledge transfer programs that enable the broader sales organization to execute strategic work independently.

Who you are:
You bring 5+ years of experience in digital and physical commerce, with direct experience with building strategies that help brands achieve their objectives. Specific practitioner experience required with Amazon search, DSP, AMC, and retail knowledge, with additional depth of knowledge on Walmart and other digital commerce retailers.

You have a proven track record in fast-paced, results-oriented environments.

You possess a strategic mindset with the ability to balance immediate client needs with long-term organizational capability building.

You have exceptional communication skills, including the ability to craft compelling written narratives and deliver persuasive presentations.

You excel at project management and can juggle multiple workstreams with competing deadlines with obsession over quality and results.

You are comfortable working across multiple time zones and regional structures, and you bring a global perspective to organizational challenges.

Experience in omnichannel commerce, media, advertising, or similar industries is strongly preferred.
