Full Job Description
JOB SUMMARY

As the Director of CNS Commercial Strategy and Operations, you will play a critical role in driving the success of the commercial organization, working closely with the Vice President, CNS Business & Customer Engagement Operations and other senior leaders. You will be responsible for leading day-to-day cross-functional initiatives and key projects, ensuring that all processes and systems are efficient and effective. You will also work closely with the Commercial Leadership Team and CNS Leadership Team to develop and execute commercial strategy, optimize revenue and profitability, and drive customer engagement and trust.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the Vice President, CNS Business & Customer Engagement Operations and collaborate with other senior leaders and cross-functional partners to develop, align and execute Otsuka's strategic plan.
  • Develop and implement cross-functional initiatives and manage key projects in support of commercial strategy to drive growth, ensuring timely completion and alignment.
  • Lead the development, execution, and measurement of key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge progress against short- and medium-term commercial objectives to inform decision-making and drive operational excellence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the commercial team and other departments, including Medical, Clinical, HR, Finance Legal, Regulatory and Compliance.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize revenue and profitability and improve efficiency and effectiveness across teams.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and customer behavior to inform commercial strategies and tactics, identify opportunity areas for process improvement and develop and implement innovative best practices.
  • Ensure strategies have a patient-centric focus, incorporating innovative approaches that are meaningful to patients, HCPs.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS/COMPETENCIES
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry required. Management experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing commercial and/cross-functional strategic initiatives.
  • Experience in managing budgets and resources.
  • Balance humility with high expectations for self and passion for work
  • Strong learning agility, with proven ability to take on new opportunities and successfully navigate ambiguity at Otsuka
  • Proactive and results-driven, with excellent organizational skills and presentation development/analytical capabilities

Minimum $186,489.00 - Maximum $278,875.00, plus incentive opportunity: The range shown represents a typical pay range or starting pay for individuals who are hired in the role to perform in the United States. Other elements may be used to determine actual pay such as the candidate's job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in role. Typically, actual pay will be positioned within the established range, rather than at its minimum or maximum. This information is provided to applicants in accordance with states and local laws.
