DIRECTOR, CHANGE & RELEASE MANAGEMENTPosition Overview:The person in this role will lead Adobe's global functions for managing changes and deployments, providing strategic direction and operational oversight across complex technical environments. This leader will define and scale an enterprise-wide framework that ensures predictable, secure, and efficient delivery of changes and releases-minimizing risk while improving business value. The Director will set organizational standards, influence senior partners, and champion continuous improvement and innovation.
Responsibilities:- Set the vision and strategy for managing change and releases, aligning with Adobe's business and technology objectives.
- Design and govern enterprise-wide frameworks that support all products and services, ensuring consistency and scalability.
- Influence and partner with organizational leaders, service leaders, and functional teams to drive adoption and alignment across the organization.
- Establish and monitor targets and success metrics to measure efficiency, compliance, and business impact.
- Lead the strategic shift toward Predictive Change & Release Management, applying AI models to analyze telemetry, identify deployment risks, and automate conflict detection across global services.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, employing data-driven insights to automate and optimize processes and to reduce risk and minimize service downtime.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards, partnering closely with governance teams.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and new technologies, bringing innovative practices to Adobe's change and release processes.
- Build and mentor a high-performing team, encouraging leadership and technical excellence.
Qualifications:- 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including at least 5 years in enterprise Change and Deployment Management.
- Demonstrable ability to define and implement strategic programs at scale in a global, complex environment.
- Exceptional executive communication and influencing skills, with a track record of driving alignment across senior partners.
- Deep understanding of IT governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
- Experience leading large, distributed teams and encouraging a culture of innovation and accountability.
Expected Pay Range:Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $151,500 -- $301,050 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In California, the pay range for this position is $207,900 - $301,050
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
