Director, Care Delivery Innovation - Work at Home - Ohio Job summaryThe Director, Care Delivery Innovation serves as the system leader for acute care model re-design, innovation, and transformation. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting a new acute care model that aligns with vision for patient/caregiver experience, clinical outcomes, and financial stewardship.
Essential functions- Develops the strategy for acute care model re-design with executive leadership support, leads processes from planning to implementation to evaluation to ensure change is adopted and successful
- Collaborates with IT, Physicians, Nursing, Clinical Support, and Ancillary service functions among others to re-design BSMH's acute care model and build a tech-enabled workforce
- Translates operational efficiencies generated by tech-enabled innovation initiatives into new workflows and care model adjustments that enhance patient/caregiver experience, improve clinical outcomes, and deliver return on investment (ROI)
- Ensures alignment across technology, innovation, and transformation initiatives in acute care and generates synergy / additive value across initiatives to deliver transformational change
- Provides strategic thought leadership but primary accountability is execution, utilizing tactical and operational expertise for implementing and sustaining care delivery innovations
- Develops plans for implementation of acute care model changes, monitors performance to plan, ensures adoption through influence, reports on successes
- Leverages advanced knowledge and deep experience of acute care operations and clinical workflows to hardwire technology adoption and drive behavior change and new ways of working
- Manages tech-enabled innovation project/initiative budgets, secures Capital and Operating expense funding, and partners with Finance to monitor ROI and run rate improvement targets
Education- Masters in MBA, MHA, Healthcare-related field (required)
Experience- 5-10 years in Healthcare & Clinical Operations Leadership (required)
