Full Job Description
The Director of Cancer Services serves as the administrative, business, and operational leader for the Princeton Cancer Center and cancer service line, with responsibility for advancing the overall performance, growth, and integration of cancer services. The role has direct operational responsibility for Outpatient Infusion and Cancer Center nursing operations and provides service-line business leadership across the broader cancer continuum.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Lead strategic, operational, and business planning to drive Cancer Center growth, integration, and financial performance.
  • Direct Outpatient Infusion and Cancer Center nursing operations, including access, capacity, staffing, quality, patient experience, and financial performance.
  • Partner with physician and nursing leadership to develop multidisciplinary cancer programs and strengthen integration across the continuum of care.
  • Identify opportunities to grow volumes, strengthen referral pathways, improve patient retention and access, and optimize operational and financial performance.
  • Partner across Penn Medicine and the Abramson Cancer Center to advance clinical integration, research, education, and program development.

What We Require for this Role:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, nursing or related field required.
  • Master's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, nursing, public health or related field preferred.

Related Work Experience

Leadership experience in oncology or a complex cancer program strongly preferred.
    • Progressive healthcare leadership experience with responsibility for complex clinical operations required.
    • Experience managing multidisciplinary healthcare services with operational, personnel and financial accountability required.
    • Demonstrated financial and business acumen, with the ability to translate financial, operational, volume and market data into clear priorities and executable actions.
    • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, lead through influence, solve complex problems and drive execution across organizational and departmental boundaries.

Salary Range:

$121,461.60 - $194,041.54/Annually based on 40 hours per week
