Full Job Description
The Role:

The Director - Business Development & Partnerships - Healthcare will be responsible for accelerating growth across DailyPay's healthcare portfolio. This leadership role will report to and partner closely with DailyPay's Senior Director of Vertical Strategy to expand DailyPay's footprint across Hospitals, Senior Living, Skilled Nursing Facilities, and Home Care. The ideal candidate will excel in a player/coach role - helping DailyPay Account Executives accelerate closure of active healthcare sales opportunities while also charting a multi-year strategy for DailyPay to achieve meaningful market share across care settings.

If this opportunity excites you, we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet all of the qualifications.

How You Will Make an Impact:
  • Strategic Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for the healthcare vertical to achieve long-term market share across acute, post-acute, and home-based care settings.
  • Relationship Management: Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers within healthcare organizations, including CHROs, CFOs, VPs of Workforce, and Operations leaders.
  • Network Construction: Construct a nationwide network of healthcare referral partners - including GPOs, management companies, and operator associations - to drive a consistent source of pipeline and sales.
  • Business Development Leadership: Lead healthcare business development efforts and work directly with DailyPay Account Executives to close active deals across all care settings.
  • Tailored Solutions: Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to create tailored solutions, messaging, and impactful thought leadership for the healthcare market.
  • Industry Representation: Identify and represent DailyPay at key healthcare industry events and conferences (e.g., AHA, AHCA/NCAL, LeadingAge, HFMA) to generate qualified opportunities and build brand credibility.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales Leadership, Revenue Operations, and Marketing to align healthcare go-to-market efforts and ensure DailyPay's product and operational investments reflect the realities of healthcare workforce management.
  • Sales Acceleration: Act as a player/coach to help the sales team navigate the unique complexities of the healthcare sales cycle, including multi-stakeholder buying processes, regulatory considerations, and HCM integration requirements.
What You Bring to The Team:
  • Industry Expertise: A deep understanding of the healthcare landscape - including Hospitals, Senior Living, SNFs, and Home Care - and the unique workforce and operational challenges across each care setting.
  • Track Record: Demonstrated success in sales, business development, or vertical strategy specifically within the healthcare industry.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and communication abilities, particularly in a player/coach capacity working alongside a field sales team.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: The ability to build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key internal and external stakeholders across highly matrixed healthcare organizations.
  • Strategic Mindset: Experience charting multi-year growth strategies and executing against them in a complex, regulated industry environment.
  • Educational Foundation: A Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field; MBA or MHA preferred.
What We Offer:
  • Exceptional health, vision, and dental care
  • Opportunity for equity ownership
  • Life and AD&D, short- and long-term disability
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Employee Resource Groups
  • Fun company outings and events
  • Unlimited PTO
  • 401K with company match
