Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking an experienced leader to drive AI strategy and growth and the Business & Strategic IT Consulting (BSIC) across the National Security and Justice (NSJ) Business Unit. This role advances mission outcomes for DOJ, DHS, Legislative and Judicial Branch clients by integrating and operationalizing responsible AI, while scaling innovative corporate offerings across the NSJ portfolio.

Our BSIC horizontal capabilities include: Enterprise AI Strategy, Intelligent Automation, Digital Leadership, Federal Financial Management, Security & Risk Advisory, and Change Management Advisory.

This position is located in Fairfax or Arlington, VA.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

AI Strategy Leadership & Emerging Tech Integration
. Lead NSJ AI strategic direction aligned with CGI Federal's AI strategy and sector account plans
. Advise on responsible AI governance, policy alignment, workforce impacts and cybersecurity considerations
. Translate enterprise AI assets and innovations into mission driven solutions for NSJ clients
. Track and align to federal AI guidance and agency initiatives

Strategic Growth & Client Advisory / Capture
. Lead and implement growth strategy for AI native advisory solutions across NSJ sectors
. Align NSJ's AI growth strategy with enterprise strategic initiatives and solutions to be able to scale where necessary
. Build and support executive level client relationships and identify high value opportunities across NSJ customer base
. Utilize AI native tools to provide meaningful, swift, and comprehensive support to NSJ pursuits, as well as for go to market messaging, client briefings and capture strategies
. Support executive insight exchanges and AI immersion engagements to educate senior federal leaders

AI Enabled Solution Development & Delivery Excellence
. Champion secure, responsible AI ensuring compliance with federal guidance and contract restrictions
. Equip project teams with AI first delivery patterns, enabling modernization of legacy systems, automated testing, intelligent workflow augmentation, and RPA integration
. Lead and/or monitor the development of AI driven business cases and value propositions including predictive analytics and generative AI

Cross Matrix Collaboration & Innovation
. Collaborate across CGI Federal to share capabilities, lessons learned and reusable assets
. Partner with engineering, emerging tech, security, cloud and delivery teams to bring holistic solutions to clients
. Promote end to end service integration across infrastructure, cyber, data and AI teams

Cross Functional Collaboration & BSIC Integration
. Build and maintain a collaborative partner network that shares BSIC technic

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience in the federal market
. Demonstrated leadership in enterprise AI strategy, program governance, intelligent automation and/or digital transformation
. Proven success building federal executive level relationships and driving growth using AI first approaches (preferred experience with DOJ, DHS, and Legislative and Judiciary branches)
. Experience leading strategic captures and proposal development with integrated AI differentiation
. Excellent communication skills with a record of AI focused presentations to senior federal IT and mission leaders
. Strong analytical judgment and ability to translate complex AI concepts into actionable mission solutions
. Ability to lead cross functional teams in matrixed environments and execute strategic initiatives with minimal staff

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
. Broad understanding of how frontier class foundation models (GPT 4 class, Claude, Gemini, Llama family) are built, tuned, evaluated, and deployed-enabling effective guidance for partners on responsible AI adoption, governance expectations, and alignment with frameworks such as the NIST AI RMF.
. Experience advising teams on implementing solutions such as Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), multi agent workflows, and tool augmented processes, ensuring they apply best practices for performance, cost, and usability while navigating IL5/IL6 environments.
. Familiarity with the requirements and processes for securing or supporting Authority to Operate (ATO) packages for AI systems in regulated environments (FedRAMP High, CJIS, HIPAA, CUI), helping partners interpret RMF controls, supply chain risks, and human in the loop safeguards.
. Practical knowledge of AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, and Google Cloud for Government, supporting partners in selecting appropriate models, understanding hyperscaler capabilities, applying governance patterns, and making informed cost/performance tradeoffs.
. Prior experience delivering or supporting programs within DOJ, DHS, Judiciary or Legislative agencies

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $127,500.00 $310,700.00.
