Qualifications

• Bachelors / Masters degree in Engineering.
• At least 15 years in Process / Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
• Strong experience in Automation and Standardization.
• Knowledge of rubber to metal manufacturing, specifically in vulcanization mold design and assembly equipment design, is desired.
• Experience in Project Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of the Americas Automation roadmap and strategy.
• Establish governance for automation project selection and capital planning.
• Collaborate with engineering leads to develop and implement process improvement initiatives.
• Develop metrics to track process performance and evaluate automation effectiveness.
• Lead project teams to integrate new products and automation solutions.
• Ensure reliable operation of control systems and manage obsolescence.
• Drive best practice automation harmonization across all plants.
• Evaluate new automation, digitization, and AI/ML technologies for manufacturing.
