Full Job Description
About the Role

We are seeking a Director, AI Translation & Adoption, to join our AI Enablement team in a remote capacity located on the East Coast. In this strategic leadership role, you will drive the adoption and integration of AI capabilities across Parexel, translating complex technical concepts into accessible, actionable guidance for non-technical stakeholders. As Director, AI Translation & Adoption, you will serve as the connective tissue between our AI Enablement team and the broader organization, partnering with organizational change management, learning and development, and corporate communications to ensure AI initiatives create meaningful impact at scale.

This position is critical to our mission of democratizing AI knowledge across Parexel. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including SPOCs, change ambassadors, and business unit leaders to shape how AI is understood, adopted, and leveraged across the enterprise. You'll lead a team that curates AI education programming, develops strategic communications, and builds the organizational capability to embrace AI-driven transformation. With diverse teams and continuous learning opportunities, this role offers the chance to influence how a global organization adopts transformative technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the AI adoption posture across Parexel, determining what AI capabilities are emphasized, when, and to which audiences, ensuring strategic alignment with organizational priorities
  • Curate and oversee the AI communications and education calendar, translating the enterprise AI roadmap and product status into forms that partner organizations can effectively consume and act upon
  • Lead the team's work translating highly technical AI and generative AI concepts into clear, accessible language for non-technical audiences while maintaining technical accuracy across all AI messaging
  • Brief organizational change management, learning and development, corporate communications teams, and the SPOC and change ambassador networks on AI direction, updates, and strategic implications
  • Oversee the AI education calendar including lunch and learns, speaker series, role-based learning paths, and topical sessions, partnering with learning and development on delivery infrastructure
  • Operate as a service function to partner organizations, triaging and prioritizing AI-related requests while maintaining predictable capacity commitments that enable partners to plan with confidence
  • Partner with corporate communications on brand alignment for AI content and external messaging, and with organizational change management on internal change communications tied to AI tool launches
  • Maintain working relationships with business unit leaders, SPOCs, and change ambassadors across Parexel, serving as the AI subject-matter authority in cross-functional forums
  • Lead and develop a team responsible for adoption liaison, translation, and education programming, building AI fluency and translation capabilities over time

Candidate Profile

You'll thrive in this role if you bring:
  • Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible, accurate language for non-technical audiences without sacrificing precision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across diverse formats including briefings, presentations, written content, and working sessions
  • Strong stakeholder management and partnership skills, particularly with organizational change management, learning and development, and corporate communications functions
  • Sound judgment in curating what messages reach which audiences and when, with the ability to read organizational dynamics and build trust
  • Comfort serving as the AI subject-matter authority in non-technical settings, balanced with the wisdom to defer to experts when appropriate
  • Experience working in technology adoption, change management, or organizational transformation initiatives

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required (field flexible: technical, communications, organizational psychology, or related)
  • 10+ years in roles that combine technology and communications, such as adoption leadership, technical product marketing, change management for technology programs, or similar
  • Strong working knowledge of AI and generative AI concepts; able to maintain credibility with technical teams while remaining accessible to non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with organizational change management, learning and development, and corporate communications functions
  • Familiarity with adoption metrics and the operational definitions of adoption including active usage, integrated workflow, and demonstrated value

Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in a related field
  • Experience in regulated industries such as life sciences, healthcare, or financial services
  • Experience leading teams in technology, communications, or organizational development

Benefits and Compensation
  • Health, Vision & Dental Insurance
  • Tuition Reimbursement
  • Vacation/Holiday/Sick Time
