Job Description
General Summary:
The Advertising Promotion Director is responsible for providing strategic and tactical regulatory direction and support for the management of review and approval of product, pipeline and disease state communications for Vertex product(s) and/or Development program(s), including promotional and non-promotional materials and communications from varied stakeholders including Commercial, Medical, Corporate Communications and Public Affairs. This role works collaboratively and cross-functionally in the development and implementation of processes that support meeting business objectives and meet regulatory requirements.

Demonstrates the ability to effectively adopt and leverage emerging technologies, including AI-driven tools, and maintains a continuous learning mindset to strengthen regulatory strategy, decision-making, and operational efficiency.
Proactively remains up to date on advances with technology, AI, automation, competitive intelligence and changes in the regulatory environment.

Pay Range:
$188,000 - $282,000Disclosure Statement:
The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

3. On-Site: work five days per week on-site with ad hoc flexibility.
