Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, culture-obsessed marketing leader to lead the Nike x JD Sports / Finish Line partnership in North America. You will inspire and coach a talented team to turn Nike stories into bold, elevated experiences that connect with consumers, move culture, and drive growth across the partner ecosystem.

You know youth culture, sportswear, sport culture, and sneakers and you can turn that knowledge into bold ideas and execute them brilliantly across retail, digital, media, sport, and cultural moments in a multi-brand environment. You also know how to lead through complexity, influence senior partners, and move two organizations toward shared ambitions.

If you want to shape a high-profile partnership, build culturally relevant work at scale, and lead a team with permission to think big, this is your opportunity.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  • Set the North America marketing plan for Nike x JD Sports / Finish Line, connecting Nike's brand and sport priorities with the partner's consumer to achieve our business goals.
  • Create bold, integrated ideas across physical retail, digital commerce, media, social, creators, sports marketing, community, and culture.
  • Own the work end to end, from identifying the opportunity and writing the brief through creative development, partner alignment, execution, optimization, and learning.
  • Be a senior marketing leader for the partnership, building trust, aligning priorities, and creating win-win solutions with JD Sports / Finish Line leadership.
  • Bring a sharp consumer and cultural point of view, ensuring the partnership is relevant today and ready for what is next in sport and style.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, setting a clear direction and give support to do best-in-class work.
  • Rally teams across Brand, Cities, Sales, Merchandising, Planning, Retail, Digital, Media, Sports Marketing, Finance, and Operations behind one integrated plan.
  • Define success, make smart investment choices, and use brand, consumer, marketplace, and business results to improve the work.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 10+ years of experience in brand, integrated retail, account, or consumer marketing, with meaningful team leadership and partner-management experience.
  • A strong track record leading the full marketing mix end to end, from consumer insight and strategic brief through creative development, channel planning, execution, optimization, and results.
  • Deep fluency in youth culture and the sportswear, streetwear, and sneaker landscape, and a clear point of view on where culture is going next.
  • Experience building brands and consumer experiences within sportswear, footwear, streetwear, lifestyle, retail, a creative agency, or a culturally influential marketplace business.
  • The ability to build trusted relationships, influence senior internal and external leaders, navigate tension, and create clarity in a complex matrix.
  • Strong people leadership, strategic thinking, commercial acumen, executive communication, and the ability to turn ambition into action.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will be part of the larger Nike North America marketing org, reporting to the Senior Director, Sportswear and Strategic Account Marketing, and work closely with JD Sports / Finish Line Marketing and Leadership.

You will partner cross-functionally with the NA Brand teams, Commercial teams, City and Regional counterparts, Global and Geo Retail Experience, Retail Brand, Creative, Operations, as well as best-in-class agencies and cultural partners.
