McKesson is seeking to add a Director, 340B Non-Hospital Program Strategy.

Position Summary

The Director, 340B Non-Hospital Program Strategy is a senior individual contributor role accountable for shaping, executing, and optimizing Macro Helix's non-hospital 340B go-to-market strategy. This role serves as the recognized subject-matter leader for non-hospital 340B commercialization, owning strategy definition, launch readiness, performance analysis, and continuous improvement across the program lifecycle.

Operating without direct people management responsibility, the Director influences outcomes through expertise, judgment, and cross-functional leadership, partnering closely with product, sales, marketing, legal, compliance, finance, and technology teams to drive compliant growth and sustainable market impact.

Key Responsibilities

Non-Hospital 340B GTM Strategy & Program Ownership
  • Lead the design and execution of the non-hospital 340B go-to-market strategy, including segmentation, value proposition, solution positioning, and launch sequencing.
  • Own and continuously refine the GTM playbook spanning solution messaging, sales enablement, marketing motions, implementation approach, and post-launch optimization.
  • Ensure offerings align with 340B statutory requirements, customer needs, and targeted financial outcomes.


Cross-Functional Influence & Enterprise Collaboration
  • Act as the primary strategic partner to Product Management, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Sales, Marketing, IT, and Customer Support for non-hospital 340B initiatives.
  • Translate complex regulatory, operational, and market inputs into clear recommendations, priorities, and execution plans.
  • Influence decisions and outcomes in a matrixed environment through credibility, data, and subject-matter expertise.


Market, Customer & Stakeholder Advisory
  • Serve as a trusted internal and external advisor on non-hospital 340B program design, compliance considerations, and commercialization strategy.
  • Engage with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to validate market fit, surface unmet needs, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Represent the program in senior-level discussions, forums, and reviews as a content expert rather than a people leader.


Performance Analytics & Insight Generation
  • Define success metrics across adoption, utilization, compliance outcomes, customer experience, and financial performance.
  • Analyze program data and trends to inform roadmap enhancements, investment decisions, and executive-level reporting.
  • Synthesize insights into concise, actionable narratives for leadership and cross-functional teams.


Program Governance, Risk & Compliance Leadership
  • Lead executive governance forums with fact-based analysis, risk assessments, and recommendation.
  • Leverage senior leadership and program Steering Committee to ensure continuous execution.


Thought Leadership & Capability Building
  • Act as a recognized internal authority on non-hospital 340B strategy and operations.
  • Mentor peers and project teams through informal leadership, knowledge sharing, and best-practice development.
  • Contribute to the evolution of 340B capabilities and long-term strategic direction.


Education & Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in degree in Healthcare Administration, Pharmacy, Business, or related field required. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience. Less years required if has relevant Master's or Doctorate qualifications.


Critical Skills
  • 10+ years of experience in 340B program management, healthcare commercialization, or related strategic roles.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives without direct people management responsibility.


Specialized Knowledge & Skills
  • Deep expertise in 340B regulations and non-hospital covered entity models.
  • Experience with TPAs, split-billing platforms, pharmacy operations, and 340B operations.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and strategic problem-solving skills.
  • Executive-level communication skills with the ability to influence through insight and credibility rather than authority.


Working Environment
  • Ability to travel 30%.
  • This role is a hybrid position. The selected candidate is expected to work on-site at our Las Colinas office for a minimum of two (2) days per week, with the remaining days worked remotely. Specific in-office days may be designated based on team needs and business priorities.
