Le directeur principal de l'usine de torréfaction de Montréal joue un rôle clé dans la performance globale du site. Il assure un leadership stratégique et opérationnel de l'ensemble des activités de production, de maintenance, de qualité et de santé et sécurité, en étroite collaboration avec les leaders de la chaîne d'approvisionnement. À la tête d'une équipe de plus de 450 employés - dont près de 400 syndiqués - le titulaire du poste mobilise ses équipes vers l'excellence opérationnelle, l'amélioration continue et une culture forte axée sur la performance, la collaboration et la sécurité.

Responsabilités
  • Contribuer activement à la définition et à la mise en œuvre de la stratégie opérationnelle globale pour le Canada.
  • Assurer un leadership mobilisateur des fonctions de production, maintenance, qualité et santé et sécurité.
  • Traduire les priorités stratégiques en objectifs opérationnels concrets à court et long terme.
  • Définir, piloter et atteindre les objectifs de performance en matière de productivité, qualité, coûts et santé opérationnels
  • Diriger des initiatives d'amélioration continue visant à optimiser :
    • La productivité et la capacité de production
    • La fiabilité et la performance des équipements
    • L'engagement et le développement des équipes
  • Optimiser les processus afin d'accroître l'efficacité, réduire les coûts et soutenir un environnement de travail positif.
  • Encadrer et développer une équipe de gestionnaires performants afin de :

Formation et expérience

  • Minimum de 10 ans d'expérience en gestion dans un environnement manufacturier complexe et en évolution rapide.
  • Expérience significative en milieu syndiqué.
  • Expertise démontrée en amélioration continue (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
  • Expérience en gestion du changement et transformation culturelle.
  • Connaissance de SAP (atout).

  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors.

The Director of the Montreal Roasting Plant plays a key role in the site's overall performance. They provide both strategic and operational leadership across all production, maintenance, quality, and health & safety activities, working closely with supply chain leaders. Leading a team of more than 450 employees, nearly 400 of whom are unionized-the incumbent drives their teams toward operational excellence, continuous improvement, and a strong culture focused on performance, collaboration, and safety.

Similar titles could be: Plant Manager, Site Director, Plant Director, etc.

Responsibilities
  • Actively contribute to the definition and execution of the overall operational strategy for Canada.
  • Provide engaging leadership across production, maintenance, quality, and health & safety functions.
  • Translate strategic priorities into clear short- and long-term operational objectives.
  • Define, drive, and achieve performance targets related to productivity, quality, cost, and operational health.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing:
    • Productivity and production capacity
    • Equipment reliability and performance
    • Team engagement and development
  • Optimize processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and foster a positive work environment.
  • Coach and develop a high-performing team of managers to:

Education & Experience
