Titre du poste: Directeur associé, Centre moteurs, qualité et soutien technique

En tant que chef de la discipline qualité et support technique, vous devez vous assurer que la qualité des produits et des processus soit conforme aux exigences, ainsi que du maintien des activités de planification des méthodes et du support à l'équipe technique d'assemblage et d'essai des opérations pour les quatre centres moteurs canadiens.

Le leader qualité et technique est également responsable de la définition, de l'exécution et du déploiement des stratégies et des plans d'action visant l'amélioration des processus des centres moteurs afin d'atteindre les indicateurs de performance de l'entreprise.

Vous travaillerez étroitement avec les différentes équipes afin d'assurer la livraison à temps de nos produits tout en maintenant les plus hauts standards de qualité et de production.

Le poste s'effectue à notre établissement de Longueuil du lundi au vendredi de jour et exclusivement en présentiel.

À quoi ressemblera votre quotidien?
  • Diriger une équipe de professionnels expérimentés en qualité et en technique, responsable de soutenir les opérations des centres moteurs canadiens.
  • Soutenir le déploiement des différents projets stratégiques en qualité et en technique, tels que le remplacement du système MES et le déploiement de nouvelles technologies d'inspection et d'assemblage.
  • Renforcer la culture qualité en mettant en place des projets et des initiatives qui favorisent un environnement où la qualité est valorisée par l'ensemble des employés.
  • Assurer la planification des processus (méthodes) intégrant les modifications de conception aux gammes d'assemblage (AFS), ainsi que le déploiement de projets technologiques visant l'amélioration continue des opérations (automatisation des tests, systèmes de mesure du couple, chauffage par induction, ligne flexible).
  • Assurer le soutien aux équipes techniques d'assemblage et d'essais (ATTS), qui fournissent un service à la ligne d'assemblage et aux essais moteurs.
  • Soutenir le processus d'audits internes et externes afin d'assurer le maintien de la conformité aux exigences de l'industrie, des agences gouvernementales et des clients, notamment celles établies par TCCA, FAA et AS9100.
  • Soutenir les actions liées à la résolution de problèmes internes et externes au moyen des processus de gestion des échappées, de gestion des non-conformités et d'audit.
  • Interagir avec différents groupes d'ingénierie, de qualité et d'autres fonctions au sein de P&WC et de PW afin de soutenir les enquêtes et les projets d'amélioration liés à l'assemblage et aux essais de moteurs.
  • Soutenir le programme CORE RTX afin d'assurer une amélioration continue générant de la valeur pour les opérations.
  • Analyser les données disponibles afin d'identifier les problèmes systémiques et d'élaborer des stratégies et des initiatives visant l'amélioration des indicateurs clés de performance à l'aide d'outils proactifs.

  • Baccalauréat en ingénierie, en qualité ou en gestion, avec un minimum de 10 ans d'expérience, ou une maîtrise en ingénierie, en qualité ou en gestion, avec un minimum de 7 ans d'expérience.

Job title: Associate Director, Engine Centers, Quality & Product Technical Support

As the Head of Quality and Technical Support, you will be responsible for ensuring that product and process quality complies with requirements, while also maintaining method-planning activities and providing support to the assembly and testing technical operations teams across the four Canadian engine centers.

The Quality and Technical Leader is also responsible for defining, executing, and deploying strategies and action plans aimed at improving engine center processes in order to achieve the company's performance targets.

You will work closely with various teams to ensure the on-time delivery of our products while maintaining the highest standards of quality and production.

The position is based at our Longueuil location, Monday to Friday during daytime hours and exclusively on-site

What Will Your Day-to-Day Look Like?
  • Lead a team of experienced quality and technical professionals responsible for supporting operations at the Canadian engine centers.
  • Support the deployment of various strategic quality and technical projects, such as replacing the MES system and implementing new inspection and assembly technologies.
  • Strengthen the quality culture by implementing projects and initiatives that foster an environment where quality is valued by all employees.
  • Oversee process planning (methods), including the integration of design changes into assembly work instructions (AFS), as well as the deployment of technology projects aimed at continuous operational improvement (test automation, torque measurement systems, induction heating, flexible production lines).
  • Provide support to the Assembly and Test Technical Support (ATTS) teams, which deliver services to the assembly line and engine testing operations.
  • Support internal and external audit processes to ensure ongoing compliance with industry, regulatory, and customer requirements, including those established by Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and AS9100.
  • Support actions related to resolving internal and external issues through escape management, non-conformance management, and audit processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and other functional groups within P&WC and PW to support investigations and improvement projects related to engine assembly and testing.
  • Support the CORE RTX program to drive continuous improvement and generate value for operations.
  • Analyze available data to identify systemic issues and develop strategies and initiatives to improve key performance indicators through the use of proactive tools.


What You Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or Business Management, with a minimum of 10 years of experience; or a Master's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or Business Management, with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
