Director of Music, Art & Recreation Therapies (M.A.R.T.)

Valley Hospital is a 122-bed private psychiatric hospital specializing in mental health and substance use treatment. Our approach is built on three core principles: outstanding care, compassionate people, and unparalleled service.

Valley Hospital is seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Music, Art & Recreation Therapies (M.A.R.T.) to provide leadership and strategic direction for our therapeutic programming.

The Director of M.A.R.T. is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and ongoing effectiveness of music, art, recreation, and related therapeutic services throughout the hospital. This leader will ensure programs meet the clinical needs of our patients while supporting the hospital's overall goals for quality, safety, patient experience, and therapeutic engagement.

We are looking for a collaborative and creative leader who is passionate about behavioral health and understands the important role therapeutic activities play in patient recovery. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, clinical judgment, organization, and the ability to build meaningful programs that engage patients and support positive outcomes.
