Summary: Responsible to the day to day operations of assigned practices.

Responsibilities:

1. Execute strategy for growth of practices including managing onboarding of acquired practices, opening new locations and growing patient volume and services offered within assigned service lines.
2.Assist Executive Leader in managing physician recruitment, contracts and compensation changes. Assist with onboarding of new providers.
3.Responsible for financial performance of assigned practices including managing operating budget, assisting with capital budget requests/management, and leading monthly financial and operational meetings to ensure division success.
4. Responsible for the day to day operations of assigned practices.
5.Partner with Executive Leader to develop strategic initiatives and plans in practices that align the practice goals with those of the organization.
6.Monitor operational indicators and provide continual process improvement for strategic planning, coding, billing, collection, patient throughput, clinic workflow, growth of patient volume, etc.
7.Benchmark key performance indicators and major processes in order to move towards best practices and assure consistency of these indicators across the practices.
8. Assist Executive Leader with integrating Medical Directors into decision making, strategic planning and budgeting.
9. Develop and maintain collaboration with other outpatient and inpatient departments to ensure positive working relationship.
10. Partner with Practice Managers/Administrators to monitor and improve key metrics related to patient experience including patient satisfaction and patient access.
11. Provide oversight, coaching and development of Practice Managers/Administrators direct reports. Ensure leadership team demonstrates ONE UNC values and key leadership skills. Engage with leadership and teammates at assigned practices.

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
• Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
