Full Job Description
Provide strategic business-focused support to an organizational leader in the following areas: business planning, operations planning, communications, and other key initiatives to proactively drive agenda for senior leader. Function as an extension of the leader and frequently represent the senior leader through meetings or personal interactions. Key Responsibilities • Act as an extension of the SVP, Chief Operation Office of the Wealth Management Advisor Group organization (COO) to help operate the business, prioritize work, and ensure readiness for key meetings, decisions and communications.  • Develop agendas and content for key meetings hosted by SVP and for the broader Wealth Management Advisor Group, as assigned. Create deliverable tracking and templates as applicable.  • Represent the SVP, Chief Operation Office of the Wealth Management Advisor Group organization (COO) on key strategic and tactical initiatives (in absence of the leader).  Monitor progress of operational and strategic objectives. May lead broad, cross-organizational initiatives for which the direct leader has been assigned accountability. • Work with partners to create consistency of IO process, business updates, annual business plans, etc.  Help run business operations as assigned by COO.  Initiate activities to maximize organizational effectiveness such as driving process improvements • Prepare select presentations, communications and talking points for the SVP as well as the president of the Wealth Management Advisor group, in partnership with leader, communication/PR partners, and executive assistant to the president.  Ensure preparation and pre-work readiness for meetings and presentations is proactive, consistent, predictable, and well documented. Develop an ongoing update on actions/achievements for the Wealth management advisor group organization. • Partner with other areas including Finance, HR, Legal, Supervision/compliance, and/or Communications to ensure delivery of key tasks in support of the organizations effectiveness, including budget management, organizational goal metrics & tracking, improvement in employee satisfaction, risk management, and other key tasks.  • Act as the BU [Risk expert / BUCL] • Partner with HR to oversee and implement business specific people strategies, including leader/employee engagement survey results, recognition, development, and other projects as assigned Required Qualifications • Ability to work independently with undefined processes, tight deadlines and frequently changing priorities. • Strong communication skills to work all levels of the organization, represent the senior leader with both corporate and field leadership • Demonstrated strength in influencing at all levels and building effective relationships in order to work collaboratively across diverse units/staff functions. • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure with undefined processes, tight deadlines and frequently changing priorities. • Strong analytical and problem solving skills to analyze data/information and form conclusions. • Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion. • Bachelors degree or equivalent • 7-10 years relevant experience required Preferred Qualifications • Proven project management skills to maintain order and ensure deadlines are met. • Experience working with the field in a relevant capacity Visa Sponsorship Applicants must have a valid work authorization that does not now, or in the future, require visa sponsorship for employment in the United States (e.g., H-1B, F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, TN). Base Pay Salary The estimated base salary for this role is $131,000-$180,100 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
