Position Description:The Director of Clinical Services provides direct supervision to all Clinical Services staff. Oversees the development and implementation of the clinical programs across the continuum of care; develops and revises program descriptions, patient/parent handbooks and oversees the clinical services provided in foster care. Reviews policies and procedures and makes recommendations to senior leadership for change. As a member of the management team, the Director of Clinical Services assists in the achievement of organizational objectives regarding patient care, attainment of operational and financial goals and participates in the promotion of services within the community.

QualificationsRequirements:Education:Master's degree in the field of mental health required.
Experience:Minimum five years in advanced clinical and supervisory experience with child and adolescent populations in a residential care setting required.
License/Certification:Current licensure in the state of Virginia required. Valid state license in Social Work / LCSW or Counseling / LPC
Skills:Excellent communication skills, ability to maintain effective working relationships, inter-departmentally, intra-departmentally, and with the clinical staff. Demonstrates the ability to organize, delegate and role model manage the Clinical Services Team. Must be eligible to provide clinical supervisor towards license. Must have ability to communicate in both oral and written form and in a clean and concise manner.
Physical Requirements:Work is mentally demanding. Moderate walking, standing, and sitting. Must be able to safely engage in physical interventions.
Must be 21 years old or older.
