Position OverviewThe Director of Architectural Services is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the introduction, education, and selling of Noble Company products to architects, contractors, designers, and developers for inclusion in plan designs for large and small-scale construction projects.
Job Details - Location: United States, close to a major airport
- Work Schedule: Generally day shift, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day
- Reporting To: National Sales Manager
- Team Dynamics: Collaborates closely with Sales team, Marketing, Operations, Customer Service, and other key departments
- Travel: Up to 50% may be required
Ideal Candidate Qualifications - Ability to manage multiple operational and supplier needs efficiently
- Strong team player with experience in purchase order entry and inventory control
- Prior experience with ERP systems is required
- Background in a manufacturing environment; experience in similar industries preferred
Responsibilities - Develop and establish new clients while maintaining strong, ongoing relationships throughout the construction process.
- Provide continuous customer education through CEUs, webinars, social media content, and other industry-appropriate methods.
- Support architects, spec writers, and contractors with product demonstrations, training, and technical guidance.
- Visit prospective customer sites to identify potential applications for Noble Company products.
- Leverage CRM (Salesforce) to document activity, track opportunities, and share insights with the sales team.
- Provide timely and accurate technical information for product specifications.
- Maintain a high level of product, technical, and industry knowledge.
Position Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in architecture, project management, general contracting, or a similar construction-related role.
- Comfortable working with building materials, specifications, construction methods, and project plans.
- Familiar with building codes, zoning, and approval processes.
- Able to troubleshoot installation or process questions and help find practical solutions.
- Able to read and understand architectural drawings, building plans, and specifications.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple priorities.
- Strong communicator who enjoys building relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams.
