Digitalization Project Manager

We are looking for Digitalization Project Manager for Industrial Systems & Solutions. This position will be based in Troy MI.

You'll make an impact by:
  • Independently leading and managing large, complex digitalization projects or programs from enablement and pre-sales through deployment, expansion, and lifecycle support.
  • Driving end-to-end delivery of smart manufacturing and digital solutions, including Industrial Edge, Brownfield Connector, Senseye, and related digital services.
  • Inspiring, supervising, and coordinating cross-functional IT/OT, engineering, and digital teams to deliver scalable and repeatable solutions.
  • Serving as the primary customer interface, ensuring measurable business outcomes, high customer satisfaction, and alignment with strategic objectives across greenfield and brownfield environments.
  • Taking full accountability for technical solution delivery, financial performance, schedules, compliance, and Environmental Health & Safety across the project lifecycle.
  • Anticipating digital deployment risks (e.g., IT/OT dependencies, connectivity, architecture constraints) and proactively driving mitigation strategies to ensure successful execution.
  • Providing subject matter expertise (SME) to the Proposal and Sales teams, supporting solution design, feasibility assessments, and implementation strategies.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience leading large-scale digitalization, smart manufacturing, industrial automation, or enterprise technology programs in customer-facing environments.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex cross-functional programs involving engineering, IT, OT, software, manufacturing, and external partners.
  • Experience leading digital transformation initiatives utilizing Industrial Edge, Industrial IoT, data platforms, machine learning, predictive maintenance, Digital Twin, or related Industry 4.0 technologies.
  • Proven ability to manage project financials, schedules, risk mitigation, governance, and customer satisfaction across multiple concurrent programs.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with demonstrated experience presenting to executive-level stakeholders and customers.
  • Experience establishing and leading PMO governance frameworks, program controls, portfolio reporting, and value realization processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Jira, SharePoint, and collaboration platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Manufacturing, or related technical discipline.
  • Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for employer-sponsored sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • Experience deploying Smart Factory, Digital Twin, Digital Thread, Industrial AI, Industrial IoT, Industrial Edge, or predictive maintenance solutions in manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated experience leading greenfield and brownfield manufacturing transformation initiatives.
  • Experience with Siemens portfolios including Industrial Edge, Senseye, Insights Hub, Brownfield Connector, Digital Twin, or similar digital solutions.
  • Proven success managing programs exceeding $10M in value involving multiple stakeholders, suppliers, and global teams.
  • Experience leading enterprise PMO organizations, portfolio management, governance, and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing systems including MES, SCADA, PLC, HMI, process control, plant-floor automation, and OT/IT integration.
  • Experience with Azure AI, cloud-based analytics platforms, machine learning, and advanced manufacturing data solutions.
  • SAFe or equivalent program management certification.
  • Experience supporting pre-sales activities, digital strategy development, solution architecture discussions, and customer road-mapping workshops.
  • Knowledge of automotive, aerospace, food & beverage, consumer products, or industrial manufacturing sectors.
  • Experience delivering measurable business outcomes through digital transformation, operational excellence, and process optimization initiatives.
  • Experience leading enterprise-scale Digital Twin and Industrial AI transformation programs within Siemens Digital Industries or comparable industrial technology organizations.

The pay range for this position is $109,670 - $188,006 annually with a target incentive of 15 of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
