Digital Transformation Project Engineer/Program Manager

In light of current internal business pressures, priority consideration will be given to qualified candidates who are currently affiliated with the Aero BX or Enterprise Operations' Enterprise Business & Digital Transformation (EBDT) organization.

What You Will Be Doing

As a key member of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, the Digital Transformation Project Engineer/Project Manager will lead the planning and execution of integrated capabilities for the Saber digital thread ecosystem. This will require coordination across domains, Agile Release Trains (ARTs), IT Systems, and organizations. The Project Engineer will work closely with key stakeholders including Program Leadership, IT Architecture, Business Process redesign teams, ARTs, and Agile Teams.

Working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment, the Project Engineer will have the following responsibilities:
• Ensure solutions are defined, developed, and deployed effectively within the Saber Environment ecosystem.
• Define and Manage the detailed Project Schedule to deliver complex solutions.
• Work with all impacted teams to create and maintain status against a master integrated schedule of technical IT activities, including infrastructure, software, hardware, licensing, and other technical dependencies.
• Drive capability delivery initiatives to deploy incremental capability according to a defined plan and schedule.
• Escalate Risks and Issues as appropriate.
• Define Architectural Assessments and business process definition work that will be needed to support integration capabilities.
• Manage to resolution Program/Environment and other solution level issues with the various ARTs as they arise.
• Status Program Leadership on the execution progress.
• Track and Manage planned versus actual Costs, including total dollars and total FTE. Create monthly CTC charts. Monitor monthly spend plans across all funding types, including overhead.

Who You Are
You are a multi-faceted teammate able to communicate and function effectively on an engineering team. You have experience with itemized planning and prioritization of tasks that drives the efficient execution of objectives. Must be a U.S. Citizen and not have dual citizenship. This position requires special access and will require a security clearance after starting.

Basic Qualifications
• Formal Project Management training or experience.

• Experience working with Siemens Xcelerator platform a plus

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $122,900 - $216,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $141,300 - $244,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
