Job Description

JLL is seeking a Digital Transformation Process Architect to join our Global Digital & Transformation Team. This mid-level role is designed for a structured, analytical professional who specializes in designing, optimizing, and scaling operational workflows. You will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into clear, efficient, and technology-enabled process designs that drive digital adoption across our facilities portfolios.

In this role, you will act as a key translator between operations and technology, mapping "as-is" environments and architecting "to-be" process blueprints. You will ensure that technology implementations (such as IWMS, CMMS, IoT, and automated workflows) are built on top of highly optimized, standardized, and scalable operational foundations.

Key Responsibilities

Process Architecture & Design

  • Map complex operational processes and design efficient, standardized "to-be" workflows that leverage modern digital platforms and automation

  • Conduct detailed process assessments to identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and automation opportunities within facility management and corporate real estate services

  • Develop and maintain end-to-end process blueprints, swimlane diagrams, and workflow models using industry-standard notation (BPMN 2.0)

  • Ensure designed processes are scalable, standardized across accounts, and aligned with overall digital transformation goals

Technology & Workflow Alignment

  • Partner with Digital Deployment Engineers and product teams to ensure that technology configurations, APIs, and integrations accurately reflect designed operational workflows

  • Translate operational processes into clear technical specifications, user stories, and data-flow requirements for engineering teams

  • Identify opportunities to use low-code tools, workflow engines, and RPA (Robotic Process Automation) to automate manual process steps

  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by validating that implemented digital solutions successfully match the intended process designs

Stakeholder Collaboration & Enablement

  • Facilitate process design workshops and interviews with operations managers, account leads, and clients to gather requirements and build alignment

  • Act as a bridge between technical development teams and non-technical business stakeholders, clarifying requirements and operational constraints

  • Develop clear process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and transition guides to support change management and system onboarding

  • Define and track process performance metrics (KPIs) to measure the efficiency gains and business value of digital rollouts

Standards & Governance

  • Support the maintenance of JLL's global process library, templates, and reference architectures

  • Assist in establishing process governance standards to ensure consistency across different accounts, clients, and regions

  • Provide guidance and support to junior Process Analysts within the digital transformation team

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Technology Integration, Management Information Systems, Operations Management, or a related field

  • 3–5 years of experience in process design, business analysis, operations consulting, or systems implementation

  • Proven experience in modeling complex workflows and translating business needs into structured process architectures

  • Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional project environments within a large enterprise

Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in process mapping and visualization tools (e.g., Lucidchart, MS Visio, Miro, Signavio, or Celonis)

  • Solid understanding of Process Improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, BPMN 2.0, Agile)

  • Familiarity with Agile tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms

  • Conceptual understanding of SaaS systems, cloud platforms, APIs, and databases (ability to understand how systems integrate without needing to write code)

Domain Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate operations, corporate services, or facilities management

  • Familiarity with key real estate workflows, such as work order management, asset lifecycles, energy management, and space utilization

  • General awareness of major industry systems (e.g., Maximo, ServiceNow, Planon, Archibus) is highly advantageous

Professional Capabilities

  • Exceptional analytical, logical, and structural thinking skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex process flows simply to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Strong facilitation skills, comfortable leading collaborative design sessions with diverse stakeholders

  • Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification

  • Business Analysis certification (e.g., IIBA-CCBA, PMI-PBA)

  • Experience with process mining tools or workflow automation software
