The Electrical Products (EP) Business Unit offers a full range of low-voltage power distribution and control products that deliver safe, reliable, and efficient electrical solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial markets.

We are looking for a Digital Transformation Expert to join our team. This position will be based at our Roebuck, SC location.

The Digital Transformation Expert drives digital transformation within manufacturing operations by identifying, implementing, and supporting technology solutions that improve productivity, quality, safety, and cost efficiency. This role collaborates across manufacturing, engineering, IT, automation, and business teams to develop innovative solutions leveraging automation, digitalization, data analytics, artificial intelligence, industrial networks, and manufacturing systems.

You'll make an impact by:
  • Manufacturing Technology & Digitalization
    • Lead manufacturing technology and Industry 4.0 initiatives by identifying automation opportunities, eliminating inefficiencies, and designing, implementing, and supporting digital solutions for production, quality, maintenance, logistics, administrative functions, MES, shop floor applications, and industrial software platforms.
  • Systems Development & Integration
    • Develop and deploy applications using approved platforms while integrating ERP, MES, SCADA, IoT, databases, and cloud systems to ensure reliable data flow and collaborate with vendors, developers, and stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
  • Data Analytics & AI
    • Create dashboards, KPIs, and reports; analyze production, quality, inventory, and workforce data to identify improvement opportunities; support AI, machine learning, predictive analytics, and intelligent automation initiatives; and promote data-driven decision-making across manufacturing operations.
  • Project Management
    • Manage technology projects from concept through implementation by defining scope, timelines, budgets, deliverables, and success metrics; coordinating cross-functional teams; and ensuring alignment with business objectives and company standards.
  • Operational Support
    • Provide technical support for manufacturing technologies and applications by troubleshooting system issues, coordinating corrective actions, developing procedures and training materials, and training end users to support successful technology adoption.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Drive productivity, quality, cost, and process improvements through Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, benchmarking industry best practices and emerging technologies, and recommending innovative solutions to maintain competitive manufacturing operations.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, automation, industrial IT, software development, or digital transformation.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing environments and implementing technology solutions from concept through deployment.
  • Experience with manufacturing systems, including MES, ERP, SCADA, or similar platforms, as well as industrial automation, industrial networking, and manufacturing technologies.
  • Experience with databases, SQL, API integrations, cloud-based solutions, and supporting software development, application deployment, or system integration initiatives.
  • Ability to analyze data and create reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI or similar tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Mendix, low-code development platforms, or software application development.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, JavaScript, or equivalent platforms.
  • Experience working with Snowflake, cloud data platforms, AWS, Azure, or other cloud-based technologies.
  • Knowledge of AI, machine learning, predictive analytics, industrial edge computing, and intelligent automation solutions.
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols, including OPC-UA, MQTT, Modbus, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools and Agile project management methodologies.

The pay range for this position is $68,830 - $117,994 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
