Job Summary:

The Senior Digital Solutions Analyst translates consumer and operational challenges into concrete designs, architecture, and solutions in support of the organization’s digital strategy. These efforts involve collaborating and codeveloping with both internal and external partners, converting the digital strategy into technical requirements that are utilized by both the Digital Transformation Office and its partners for the creation of final products and solutions. They are involved in all aspects of the product life cycle, from the initial kickoff through the requirements analysis, design, implementation, and evaluation.

Job Duties:

  • Works cross-functionally with technical and business leadership to establish an architectural plan across multiple solution areas, in consideration of the product roadmaps.
  • Participates in design and engineering of analytics solutions that have significant strategic impact and achieve long term competitive advantage for Geisinger.
  • Aligns digital and architectural strategy with business and clinical requirements.
  • Helps lead all aspects of development effort including requirements definition, design, implementation, testing, and support.
  • Gathers and analyzes data and develops data architecture requirements at both a product and strategy level.
  • Assists in post-implementation continuous-improvement efforts to enhance performance and provide increased functionality.
  • Analyzes the current digital ecosystem to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.
  • Works closely with other Digital Transformation Office leadership to ensure alignment of plans with what is being delivered, utilizing scrum framework and methodology where appropriate.
  • Provides strategic consultation to stakeholders and IT teams.
  • Consults on Institute-facing projects and maintains knowledge of their progress.

Position Details:

COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

  • Ability to effectively communicate quantitative information to system leadership, clinical stakeholders, and investigators.
  • Creative problem solving and resourcefulness when discussing healthcare challenges and developing potential solutions.
  • Advanced programming and database development skills (SQL, Databricks), data visualization and interpretation skills (Tableau, Excel), along with the ability to instruct users on programming of large data repositories.
  • Ability to utilizer Generative AI applications such as Claude and Copilot to assist with code generation and validation, as well as data analysis and interpretation of results.
  • Current agile methodologies, specifically scrum.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as interface with all levels of staff/management within and beyond the organization.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate analytical information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, building relationships and achieving results without a direct reporting relationship.
  • Advanced understanding of digital transformation market trends
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint in order to develop business documents or presentations in support of ongoing projects.
  • Ability to prepare and understand functional and technical specifications.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, statistics or closely related field required.
  • Minimum five years of experience in analytics required.
  • Healthcare experience a plus.
