  • Conduct mission planning and projections for resource requirements to counter threats.
  • Develop documentation to align with objectives of external agencies.
  • Translate analytical results into impactful briefings.

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking Digital Signals Analyst, Mid to support an Intel Community (IC) mission in Ft. Meade, MD, Wahiawa, HI and Aurora, CO areas. A Digitial Signals Analyst establishes definition of new equipment, techniques or potential new signals.

 

Responsibilities may include:

  • Perform analysis and prepare documentation in connection with radar, instrumentation, electronic counter-measurers (ECM), and communication signals.
  • Provide analytical and operational support for unique tactical and strategic mission intelligence systems.
  • Support a range of analytical products and functions including operational scenarios, development of deployment scenarios, site assessments, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Analyze complex system integration requirements to identify mission vulnerability targets and develop multiple scenarios to resolve all mission threats.
  • Perform mission planning and projections to anticipate future resource requirements to counter identified threats.
  • Develop documentation to support objectives in support of external agencies.
  • Translate analytical results into effective briefings.
  • Analyze operational availability of strategic and tactical intelligence assets.
  • Develop briefing reports that depict clear assessment of systems availability.
  • Maintain mission status on assigned tactical and strategic systems.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 

  • A high school diploma or GED plus 9 years of relevant experience OR an Associate’s degree plus 7 years of relevant experience will be considered for those who have completed relevant military degree programs (or equivalent), OR who have completed relevant military training (9141, IN2A, 451/461 or 452); OR who have participated in or graduated from a relevant training program such as MCSAP, MESAP, or MOSAP. OR a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree plus 3 years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree and 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Degree must be in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, a Physical Science, or a related technical field. A broader range of degrees will be considered for those who have completed a relevant training program listed above (e.g., 9141, IN2A, 451/461, 452, or MCSAP/MESAP/MOSAP).
  • Relevant experience must be in signals analysis, including protocol analysis, and also include network troubleshooting, network traffic characterization, and/or network security analysis.
  • Shift work will be required for the Colorado location.
  • Active TS SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required

Target Salary Range$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
